Strategy for Time ManagementYou have one week: 1) review your Literature Review and Bibliography sections, look for ways to improve them, and make revisions; 2) start working on your Research Plan;
Feb.10 Your supervisor returns the first draft of your Literature Review and Bibliography. You have six days: 1) consider your supervisor’s comments on the first draft of your Literature Review and Bibliography and write your final draft; 2) finish writing the first draft of your Research Plan. Feb. 16 Your supervisor gets the final draft of your Literature Review and Bibliography and the firstdraft of your Research Plan and has them until Feb. 26. You have ten days: 1) review your Research Plan, look for ways to improve it, and make revisions; 2) stay in contact with the teacher whose students you will be working with and reconfirm the arrangements you have made; 3) test your measures on some likely subjects [perhaps some friends] to see how well they work and make necessary improvements;
Feb. 26 Your supervisor returns the final draft of your Literature Review and Bibliography and the firstdraft of your Research Plan. You have one week: 1) consider your supervisor’s comments on the final draft of your Literature Review and Bibliography and make necessary revisions; 2) consider your supervisor’s comments on the first draft ofyour Research Plan and write your final draft. Mar. 6 Your supervisor gets the final draft of your Research Plan. You have one month: 1) get started on your research as soon as possible, and be sure to take notes on everything you do and everything that happens; 2) try to give yourself at least a week to write the first drafts of the Data Collection and Results & Discussion sections of your paper.
