What are the 3 types of jaundice?
It can be characterized into three different categories including pre-hepatic, intra-hepatic, or post-hepatic. Pre-hepatic and intra-hepatic causes are known as medical jaundice, while post-hepatic (or obstructive jaundice) is considered surgical jaundice.

A 10 year old boy hospitalized yesterday. He has been feeling unwell for the last two weeks. There is some pain in the right side of his stomach and lost his appetite. The doctor determined that his eyes look slightly yellowish in color, his urine was dark and stool was light. The mother said he complained about the abdominal pain, nausea, and sometimes vomited.

In this disease the patient suffers from shortness of breath. He will have fever, cough, usually with phlegm. He also has chest pain when he breathes or cough.
