   Through legislative debate and compromise, the Congress makes laws that influence our daily lives. It holds hearings to inform the legislative process, conducts investigations to oversee the executive branch, and serves as the voice of the people and the states in the federal government.

   Government Executive Department. The executive implements and enforces laws. It consists of the Cabinet of Ministers, executive departments, independent agencies and other councils, commissions and committees. Cabinet - Members of the Cabinet of Ministers serve as advisers to the President.

   A bill is the draft of a legislative proposal, which becomes a law after receiving the approval of both the houses of the Parliament and the assent of the President.

   The Cabinet includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments — the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, as well as the Attorney General.

   The national anthem of the United States is “The Star Spangled Banner". The words written during the Anglo-American war of 1812-1814 and set to the music of an old song. Every state has its own flag, its own emblem and its own anthem too. The United States flag is commonly called "the Stars and Stripes" or "Old Glory," with the latter nickname coined by Captain William Driver, a 19th century shipmaster and also they have "Order of a new day".

The US flag is an important symbol to all Americans. During the revolution against Britain George Washington asked Betsy Ross to make а flag as an encouragement for his soldiers. This flag had 13 stripes, seven red and six white, and in оnе corner 13 white stars on а blue background to represent the 13 states. On 14 June 1777 it bесаmе the flag of the independent US. (The first one above.) As each new state bесаmе part of the US аn extra star was added. Today, the flag, called Old Glory or the Stars and Stripes is widely seen in the US. (The second one above.) Government offices and schools have flags flying from flagpoles, and mаnу people have flags outside their houses especially оn Independence Day. The design on the obverse of the great seal is the national coat of arms of the United States. It is officially used on documents such as United States passports, military insignia, embassy placards, and various flags. As a coat of arms, the design has official colors; the physical Great Seal itself, as affixed to paper, is monochrome. The eagle became the national emblem of the country in 1782. It has an olive branch (a symbol of peace) and arrows (a symbol of strength). You can see the eagle on the back of a dollar bill.

   All this came into being during the battles and developments. I think that every nation has its own national anthems. they are the cause of our history and our pride.
