Art Throughout the ages art has played a crucial role in life. Art is universal and because art is everywhere, we experience it on a daily basis. From the houses we live in (architecture) to the movies we see (theatre) to the books that we read (literature). Even in ancient culture art has played a crucial role. In prehistoric times cave dwellers drew on the wall of caves to record history.Throughout time art has recorded history. Most art is created for a specific reason or purpose, it has a way of expressing ideas and beliefs, and it can record the experiences of all people. Most art has some sort of reason or purpose behind it. It might be religious, symbolic, literal, traditional, customary, or just a preference by the artist. Well in general, there are my thoughts on the role of art in society. First, on the most basic level, art seeks to please people with beauty. In a broken world, sometimes it is important to allow people to realize that there is still beauty. Hence, art can function to refresh people and remind people of better things or transcendent realities. Second, on a more deeper level, art is able to express important values within that society to people in ways that are memorable. In this way, art can be used to reinforce values and even bring people together. For instance, artwork can commemorate great accomplishments, such as military victory as in World War II.Third, art in society can also be used to challenge people. For example, a thought provoking piece of art can call into question the establishment or some other cherished ideal. This would be a more subversive use of art. In the end, art has many different functions in society. In a summary, It’s important to note that art has great influence on our souls, feelings, our moral values. Art makes us think of the sense of life, what is the real beauty, what is love - the eternal questions. Art develops our personality, our outlook and definitely good taste, in other words enriches our inner world. Moreover, art has a great educational significance. Business and money Businesses make up a significant portion of a country’s economy. They help people live the lives they want to live and encourage productivity that leads to huge profits and growing revenues. The economy of a country is literary a backbone to its existence. The economy of a country helps determine overall health and growth of a nation. It shows how well people can spend, save and grow their resources overtime. It also shows effects of supply and demand; what products and services are in demand contributing to growth and stability of the country in question. Economic growth in modern times is a crucial element part of global development. Even small businesses can impact how people abroad spend their hard earned money. Businesses thrive when they are able to provide a product people want. People create their living situations based on resources available and what they can afford. Businesses offer a number of elements highly important to a country’s economy such as employment, productivity and a form of financial security. Think of it this way; when a business is doing well they are likely contributing to a country’s economy that makes it beneficial for everyone involved. So what happens when a business underperforms or does not meet expectations of its market? This is when the economy can be affected. When people lose their jobs they may not be able to buy what they want. The economy would not see the same activity as it did when it was stronger. People may not decide to make bigger purchases like a house or vehicle. They may not want to travel or take vacations. So, an underperforming business may not hire more people, give raises to their employees, or offer better benefits to their marketplace. When multiple businesses take a hit it’s like sending a ripple affect across the country. When jobs are lost or when stocks tumble, it may be a sign things are changing. Most countries depend on productivity from different businesses across various sectors and industries. Some provide higher profits that make a country known for that specific product. Economies are built on strong businesses with profitable ideas, products and services. Businesses make it possible to encourage people of a country to do better for themselves. They make significant contributions that help economies grow for generations to come. Communication and personality Personality refers to an individual’s characteristics, style, behavior, mindset, attitude, his own unique way of perceiving things and seeing the world. Genetic factors, family backgrounds, varied cultures, environment, current situations play an imperative role in shaping one’s personality. The way you behave with others reflects your personality. An individual with a pleasing personality is appreciated and respected by all. Effective Communication skills play a crucial role in honing one’s personality. A person should speak really well to make a mark of his/her own. Remember, no one would take you seriously if you do not master the art of expressing yourself clearly and in the most convincing manner. Effective communication skills strengthen the bond among individuals. It is also said to improve the interpersonal relationships with other people. Speak convincingly so that the other person understands what you intend to communicate. Your style of speaking has a tremendous impact on your personality. Take care of your body language. Correct body language exudes confidence which further hones an individual’s personality. Do not fiddle with things around while speaking. It is very important for people understand the basics of communications, by this I mean their own communication styles, and their own critical role of emotional intelligence, and the impact of all of this on their life's and everyone they come in contact with. When you have good communication, skills you are ensured to pose many good things in your life. One of the biggest misconceptions about being a good communicator is that you should also be a good talker. In fact, you need to be a strong listener instead of being a talker; you might actually be surprised to what you could learn just by listening. In conclusion, communication helps individuals to express themselves in the most convincing way. Your thoughts, feelings and knowledge should be passed on in the most desirable manner and effective communication skills help you in the same. Crime and punishment In every human society, there is an effort continually tending to confer on one part the height of power and happiness, and to reduce the other to the extreme of weakness and misery. The intent of good laws is to oppose this effort, and to diffuse their influence universally, and equally. Making crimes comes as a result of many various things in life. The first and the greatest one is called money as the old expression that says “Money is the root of all evil”, As many people who are in need of money makes different types of crimes just to gain that money, however it’s coming through a wrong way. So the second one and the most popular, during industrial revolution, corruption led to the appearance of plenty types of modern crimes. There is crime all over the world and it has been an issue for years. There are all different kinds of punishments for the different crimes that occur. The death penalty is one punishment used for certain crimes. However, in many countries the death penalty has been abolished. But now there is a certain penalty for each of the crimes committed. The end of punishment, therefore, is no other than to prevent the criminal from doing further injury to society, and to prevent others from committing the like offence. Such punishments, therefore, and such a mode of inflicting them, ought to be chosen, as will make the strongest and most lasting impressions on the minds of others, with the least torment to the body of the criminal. It is better to prevent crimes than to punish them. This is the fundamental principle of good legislation, which is the art of conducting men to the maximum of happiness, and to the minimum of misery, if we may apply this mathematical expression to the good and evil of life. Education Education is a process that involves the transfer of knowledge, habits and skills from one generation to another through teaching, research and training. It can be in a formal or informal setting. Formal education involves institutionalized learning based on a curriculum. In today’s society, education and learning play an indispensable role in shaping the lives of individuals and the society at large. The most effective way of boosting economic growth, reducing poverty and improving people’s health is by investing in education. Human labour is essential for economic growth. A highly educated labour force further stimulates economic growth. Additionally, a highly educated labour force can easily adapt to new working environments and conditions. In view of that, it is evident that education serves as the driving force for innovation of new products and services. Educated workers exchange ideas in the work place and come up with new ideas that help in the growth of the economy. Education reduces poverty in a number of ways. One way is by creating employment opportunities for educated people. Through employment, one is able to afford a decent living. Education helps to increase economic security, create income opportunities and improve livelihoods of the economical disadvantaged by providing sustainable environmental management mechanisms. By investing in education, one will also be investing in their health. Education serves to create room for technological advancements in the field of medicine and agriculture. Advanced technology used for conducting surgery has replaced traditional methods. This has seen an improvement in people’s general health and an increased life expectancy. Most developing countries have a low life expectancy compared to developed countries. This can be attributed to high illiteracy levels present in developing countries. This translates to poor health and poor eating habits. In conclusion, education is the only means of alleviating poverty, improving people’s health and increasing economic growth. Improving literacy levels in marginalised societies will go a long way in improving human living standards. Environment Our planet Earth is only a tiny part of the universe, but nowadays it's the only place where we can live. People have lived on our planet for many years. They lived and live on different continents, in different countries. People depend on their planet, the sun, animals and plants around them. Environment is everything in the world around us that surround and affects all life on earth, including the air, food, water, plants, animals and other. Environment is the place where we live. Since ancient time nature has served man, being the source of his life. For thousands of years people lived in harmony with environment and it seemed to them that natural riches were unlimited. But man's interference in nature began to increase with the development of civilization. Our ecology becomes worse and worse with every new day. Many species of animals and birds are disappearing nowadays. People destruct wildlife, cut down trees to make furniture. They forget that people can't live without trees and plants, because they fill air with oxygen. There are a lot of ecological problems. So we have to clean the water environment. Another problem is air pollution. Air pollution influents the health of people. For example: ultraviolet radiation from the sun can cause skin cancer. Normally the ozone layer in the atmosphere protects us from such radiation, but if there are holes in the ozone layer ultraviolet radiation can get to the earth. Many scientists think that these holes are the result of air pollution. Another problem is growth of population. They don't have enough places to live. They need more water, more food. So it is the reason of the shortage of the natural resources. It is very difficult to solve this problem. Also one of the most serious problems is greenhouse effect. It works like this: sunlight gives us heat. Some of the heat warms the atmosphere and some of the heat goes back into space. Nowadays the heat can't go into space. That's why winter and summer temperatures in many places have become higher. If the temperature continues growing up the snow on the mountains and ice will melt, so the most of the earth will be under water. So every person has to understand how important it is to solve these problems, which endanger people's life. Family and children Family is an essential part of everyone’s development. A family can determine who you are going to be and your family values determine what your relationship with others will be like. If a family is dysfunctional or abusive it can emotionally scar an individual. Through time family values have been changed and lost. Instead of family togetherness and talking with each other, families now go on their separate ways. Child upbringing is one of the most formidable tasks a parent will ever take on in life. It is even more difficult in a society like ours that is in transition with all the forces of darkness that seems overwhelming. Families that spend a lot of time together tend to be closer. And families where the members rarely come face to face with one another have hardly anything that ties them together. In the olden days parents and children used to live and work together. In many families, children pursued the same career as their father. They learned the trade or craft from their parents and elder siblings. This allowed them to spend more time with their family and that made their relationships stronger. There is yet another reason that affects family bonds. People are increasingly moving to another city or country in search of better education, jobs or living standards. They leave their family behind. While it is possible to keep in touch through modern communication means, an email or phone call is not equal to a face-to-face interaction. The only way to forge better ties with our near and dear ones is to spend more time with them. We must realize that our biggest strength is our family. Relationships are like potted plants. We need to nourish them. If we don’t give them the love and affection they need, they will wilt. To conclude, if we need better family relationships we must be willing to adjust and compromise. We must realize that the only way to win love is to give love. Instead of confining ourselves to our space, we must come out of it. Food and diet All food is made up of nutrients which our bodies use. There are different kinds of nutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Different kinds of food contain different nutrients. Before we cut down on fat, sugar and salt, we have to know a bit more about the kind of food these things might be in. The biggest problem comes when these things are hidden in other foods: biscuits, crisps, sausages, meat pies, soft drinks and so on. The best way is to get into the habit of checking the ingredients and nutritional value on the sides of packets although this isn't always easy to do. Another thing to know is, for example, that we do need fat to live, it's an essential part of our diet and physically we couldn't exist without it. But we all know that to eat much fat is bad for our health. The matter is that there are different kinds of fat. There are fats that are good for us and fats that are bad for us. Eating less of the bad ones and more of the good ones can actually help us to live longer! Bad fats are the saturated fats, found in animal productions, like red meat, butter and cheese. Although fertilizers and pesticides have greatly increased the quantity of food and helped to improve its appearance, there is a growing concern about the effects of these chemicals in the food chain. This concern has led to a growth in the demand for organically grown products.Today there is another problem. It is modified food, which is cheaper that ordinary one. There is a rumour that such food can cause cancer and other problems. Nobody knows, either it is just an imagined fear or a real problem. This problem could be solved and examined, but it will take some time. The food we eat, depends on lots of things. Taste is a big factor. Culture, religion and health also play a part in what food we eat. Advertising and social factors also have a big influence. Income is also an important factor. That is why not surprisingly, money, rather than a lack of knowledge about how to eat well, is at the heart of the problem. Finally, there are three main messages to follow for healthy eating: First, we should eat less fat, particularly saturated fat. Secondly, we are to cut down on sugar and salt. Thirdly, we must eat more fresh fruit and vegetables. Government Be the government a dictorcratic, autocratic or democratic, all these have one thing in common and that is to rule the citizens under its power as established by the ruling citizens and or parties. Any government form will fight to preserve its sovereignty from both foreign and domestic enemies. Based on all wants and needs of the governing party and the people associated, laws are established to tax the people and develop both a working force and militia for the society and to establish penalties for any that would violate such laws and oppose the current government. Government is a leadership from of society structuring in which a person or a group of people act in behalf of those that placed the leadership on them, be it a birth-right, family position, an election, or a nomination. The simplest form of government is that of the basic family unit. Where there is a single-family head over all the other members. The family head judges and balances all the families wants and needs based on the resources of the family and its capabilities. In most instances the head is one of the family elders who has: sound knowledge and wisdom about most matters affecting the family. The head acts for the betterment of the family and all associated with it by either marriage or other agreements. A government is a protective body set up to protect the people from domestic and foreign threats. Insuring that all citizens share the cost. A government is like a scale, balancing the needs and the wants of' the people. The government is established through individuals being elected to represent the citizens in its community, state and nation. These individuals establish laws to be voted on by the citizens. These laws are set up to protect and provide for the people. Balancing the needs of everyone fairly. Health When we are ill, we call a doctor, and he examines us and diagnoses the illness. When we have a headache, a stomach ache, a sore throat, a cold, or a pain in some parts of the body, we call a doctor. He takes our temperature and our pulse. He examines our heart, our lungs, our stomach or the part where we have pain, and tells us what the matter is with us. The doctor prescribes medicine, and gives us a prescription, which we take to the chemist's, who makes up the medicine. If you follow the doctor's orders, you get better; if you disobey the doctor, you may get worse, and even die. We must obey the doctor, if we want to get better. If we have a temperature, we must stay in bed and take the medicine he prescribes. If we cannot get better at home we must go to hospital. If we are too ill to walk, we go to hospital in the ambulance. After our illness we can go to a sanatorium until we are strong again. When we have toothache, we go to the dentist's. He examines our teeth, finds the tooth which hurts us, stops or extracts it. Now here in Uzbekistan health system incorporates a variety of medical institutions. The medical service in Uzbekistan is of two kinds. Some state establishments give their employees medical insurance cards. They guarantee the people free of charge medical assistance. Some medical establishments charge fees for treatment. They may be rat-her high, but our medical service now uses all modem equipment and medicines and provides qualified medical help to all people. To conclude, modern medicine is moving forward day by day bringing global innovations and finding effective solutions to serious health problems. Still, there are a lot of diseases that are far too complicated and remain irremediable. That is why each of us must comply with the rules of personal hygiene. Housing Housing as a concept can be looked at broadly as an objective and sequential process of building and providing shelter for individuals. This involves the government, local government authorities or even not for profit organizations devising and running programs which are geared at providing not just affordable but also cleaner, safer and more comfortable environments in which individuals could live, work and even conduct business for subsistence. Developing from the concept of housing, regenerating social housing can therefore be viewed as a means by the local government to revive and maintain social housing based on a strategic approach of not just providing affordability but taking note of the more broader recognition of the need for energy efficiency and changes in demography which ultimately affect the economy and which thus have a direct influence on the choice of lifestyle and adaptation to circumstance. Notable also is that revitalization as in this case also focuses on adopting a people centered social development attribute which further enhances transformation into a financially stable societal institution. A focus of regeneration as a new form of the local government's strategic approach to housing enables letting at low rent on secure bases to people with a major objective of provision of affordable accommodation to low income earners. Other beneficiaries to this program also include the unemployed, refugees and asylum seekers, the elderly and the disabled as well as those having specific needs. In view of the above discussion, it can be noted that social housing as a program cannot as it is be narrowly subjected to scrutiny by way of confining individuals to specific beneficiary categories or the effectiveness and efficiency of running it but more broadly as a collective strategy which aims at improving the livelihoods of all people by the society that they live in. Language We define language as a system of communication that is primarily verbal, symbolic, dually-patterned, and arbitrary and is used by humans with common cultural expectancies. Language is also a means to communicate ideas, knowledge and emotions to other individuals through the use of the body. The system of communication used is a set of codes or rules; a specific signaling system developed by humans. This signaling system consists of sounds used by individuals to express knowledge, emotions and ideas. This system is learned and passed on through cultural transmission by the teaching and the imitation of others. This system is significant because it is purely human in nature and no other species is able to duplicate our system. Language is also dually-patterned because the sounds produced by humans can be combined in many ways to create an infinite amount of sounds. By using part of the grammatical system, morphology, many different words and sentences can be created. This process produces many new expressions showing how the human language can be manipulated. This is significant because humans are able to use this patt.Language is important because it's one of the main ways to communicate and interact with other people around us. It keeps us in contact with other people. English language is an example for the importance of a language because it is the international language and has become the most important language to people in many parts of the world. It is most widely used in communicating around the world, Also it is spoken as the first language in many countries. English is playing a major role in many sections like education, medicine, engineering and business. There are many reasons that makes English is the most important language in the world. Leisure Leisure time is necessary for people after working and studying hard, and there are various recreation activities to do base on oneself purpose. Many people support the methods helping the mind getting better, while others endorse the thinking to rest in free time, but it is more effective if we take part in outside activities. It is true that people can improve their personal ability by practicing pursuits improving the mind. By doing the word puzzles, this activity helps us raise the logical thinking and solve problems at work more effectively. On the other hand, we can wider our knowledge and absorb more information from many kind of books, the mental health will be better. Standing at the other view, putting the mind at rest by enjoying media entertainment, people reduce the stress. After long day at work or school, we usually feel tired and need to relax. There are many channels such as watching films, listening music and playing games, our mind will balance again. However, the pursuits of two sorts above have some disadvantages, such as we feel more stressful when practicing the mind or to be not conscious if using electronic entertaining methods, we should take outdoor actions. When enjoying outside events, for instance, doing exercise or playing sports bring about our physical health will be better, the mind will be refreshed and having energies for new works. In summary, doing activities, improving our mind in leisure time will enhance our thinking but perhaps, also lead to feeling more stressful. Meanwhile, laying the mind to rest helping us reduce work’s pressure, however, we can feel graver. Personally, participating in outside pursuits is good for both metal and physical health. Media and advertising Social media plays a significant role in ensuring that advertising is successful. Social media is made up of websites that enable users to create and share content with other users across the internet. In today’s world almost everything that takes place revolves around social media and as a result any new product, business or service being advertised is associated with social media in some way. With the world growing to be more technological enhanced it shows that more customers and potential customers are becoming more dependent on social media when pursuing a product or service of interest. Social media is user friendly, allows for sharing of content with a wide audience and makes it possible for relationships to develop among other brands. Social media is important in ensuring advertising is successful because it provides a user friendly platform that is compatible with its intended users ability to use it easily and successfully. Previously, mainly younger persons were the ones who used social media; however, recently older persons are being more engaged in social media because it is much easier to operate and understand now. Many persons believe that social networks are only for younger people, yet we find that everyday older people are using social media not just to keep up with family and friends but to actually communicate with organizations of interest and to engage with their customers. This would therefore lead to an increase in the success received from advertising via social media because customers prefer easily accessible and user-friendly platforms; where all the required information is at hand when using the internet in search of a new product or service. Social media also plays a significant role in advertising because it allows the product or service being advertised to be shared with almost anyone who uses the internet, by sharing pages, photos and videos. Reading Reading has at all times and in all ages been a source of knowledge, of happiness, of pleasure and even moral courage. In today's world with so much more to know and to learn and also the need for a conscious effort to conquer the divisive forces, the importance of reading has increased. In the olden days if reading was not cultivated or encouraged, there was a substitute for it in the religious sermon and in the oral tradition. In the first place, reading helps us in school. Without having the ability to read, it would be difficult to do homework and even participate in sports! If you need information for a school assignments there are many books, websites, and even news articles to read. If you struggle in math, science, social studies, or other subjects, there are many tutoring books that you can get that will help you during school and even over the school break. Reading skills really come in handy! Reading helps us understand life outside of school. Finally, reading develops ones imagination and creativity. When we read for pleasure, we are able to let our imaginations go wild. Reading gives us all a chance to relax and free our minds from anything else happening, especially after a long busy day away from home. We don’t only read books, there is also craft books, cook books, and activity books. These types of books give children the opportunity to create and have fun! You read everything around you from stop signs to maps to nutrition labels. Reading is an important skill. You’re reading right now! Reading helps us at school, helps us understand life outside of school, and it develops ones imagination and creativity. Society A society is intangible. It is a process rather than a thing mention rather than structure. Society is the system of relationship the pattern of the norms of interaction. The members of society maintain themselves with the help of these relationship and norms. I want to speak about pros and cons in our modern society. In my opinion the biggest problem we have it is crime. For example drug dealing. Nowadays many young people are under the influence of drugs and it is sad. Drugs can lead to serious problems such as poor schoolwork, loss of friends, problems at home, and lasting legal problems. Alcohol is not gone away from drugs. It is also a huge problem. Unfortunately there are a lot of different problems with crime like burglary, mugging or shoplifting. Most of these problems come about because the homeless. Despite the fact that we have many new and useful technologies we still can't provide all people with jobs. But on the other hand, people in modern society have done a lot of good things. I'm talking about Art. Today, art continues to play a major role in society like it did in the past. Until now, art still provokes awareness as contemporary artists use different media in order to share to everyone their view of the world. Artworks are open to different interpretations by its viewers, and although their message appears vague, they remain able to communicate something to the audience. In our society there are both good and bad aspects. Fortunately there are people who want to make the world better. Such as Greenpeace, who protect our nature or different charitable companies which help people with their problems. Summing up all the above, I would like to say that only we can change our life for the better. Space exploration Mankind always dreamed of overcoming gravitation and reaching other planets. But it was only in the 1960ies that this dream was to become reality. Nations after nations, every day, every year, celebrates its achievements in space exploration. On the 12th of April 1961 the spaceship "Vostok" was launched into space with a man on board and after orbiting our planet successfully returned to the Earth. The first man to overcome gravitation and orbit the Earth was Yuri Gagarin. This day went down in history of mankind as an outstanding achievement, opening the space era. In the course of space exploration there have been lots of achievements of world science and technology. This period saw the launching of many earth satellites, numerous space laboratories. Among the achievements we may enumerate the landing of automatic stations on the Moon, the flights of space laboratories towards the Venus and Mars. In many countries, a big proportion of expenditure is being spent on exploring the space. It is argued that this expenditure should be spent on other important things rather than on space exploration. However, in my opinion, keep other significant things in mind, space program is very crucial and important for the whole world and should be funded due to the fact that it will help to improve the communication between countries in the world and also helping to search a new alternate to live. Recently there have been calls to reduce expenditure on space research programmes. I think it would be a serious mistake to allow this to happen. There is a direct link between the development of space research programmes and different earth technologies. The higher the former are the more developed the latter are. Sports and exercises Sport is probably as old as the humanity itself. All over the world people of different ages are very fond of sports and games. Firstly, sport helps people to become strong and to develop physically. Secondly, it makes them more organized and better disciplined in their daily activities. Also sport keeps your mind healthy. Sport helps people to keep in good health. We all need to exercise. Regular exercises gives you more energy. Exercises make you feel and look better. The best exercises are: walking, jogging or swimming. Among the sports popular in our country are football, basketball, swimming, volley-ball, ice hockey, tennis, gymnastics, figure skating. A person can choose sports and games for any season, for any taste. Many people do sports on their personal initiative. They go in for skiing, skating, table tennis, swimming, volleyball, football, bodybuilding, etc. All necessary facilities are provided for them: stadiums, sport grounds, swimming pools, skating rinks, skiing stations, football fields. Sport is paid much attention to in our educational establishments. Gymnastics is a part of children's daily activity in the kindergartens. Physical culture is a compulsory subject at schools and colleges. Physical training is usually an important subject in learning institutions and lessons are allocated for physical exercises. It is compulsory in almost all the institutions of learning. Students also take part in various competitions that are held in their institutions. It is a requirement that every student develops a culture of sports as a way of developing a sound mind that can help in internalizing class work. Sport protects teenagers from engaging in harmful habits like smoking and taking of drugs. It keeps them busy all the time and in turn, they develop good health. Teenagers involve themselves in sports like football, basketball and hockey to keep them busy all the time. Technology We live in the fascinating and challenging world of science. It is a world that more and more over the ages, and especially in the 21st century has come to affect so much of our lives. The list of the inventations is rather long. We can't imagine our life without a technology or a computer. A computer gives a lot of advantages to a user. The list of the advantages is rather long: computers give us access to the Internet- an international computer network. You can spread a lot of your free time surfing the Internet and get all sorts of information from it. Today technologies help people to do many things. But technologies have some disadvantages. Technologies can make people lazy. For example, people waste their time when they play different games on a computer. People forget to go to the libraries, they often find information on the Internet. But in my view they have more advantages, that disadvantages. It's an open secret that the computer is a source of education, entertainment and communication. And in my life the computer plays a very important role. It helps me to find information and relax. Though scientists have archived so much, scientific minds are still working at some urgent problems. I would like to mention some problems. One of them is finding and using alternative sources of energy. Scientists are also learning how to save and conserve energy. They have many problems with creating highly effective systems of communication. I can't but mention one of the main problems. It is development of life on the planet. Because science will be around us even more in the future, I think we-tomorrows adults must start learning today to be ready to take our places in this computerized, transistorized, antibiotic, nuclear and supersonic age! Tourism Tourism has always been one of the most attractive and interesting kinds of time spending for millions of people. Tourism, as an industry, is very profitable and is considered an economical savior for the countries, especially for those, which are not so strong from the point of view of industry and economic development, but are very attractive by their historical places and rich architecture. The tourism, especially the nature tourism, brings not only economic value; it is also rather dangerous ecologically, because tourism influence ecology of the countries in the negative way. The present paper is devoted to the discussion of the environmental impacts of tourism and contains discussion of economic benefits of tourism compared to its ecological impacts. From an environmental point of view, tourism is one of the forms of nature usage. Tourism development requires an involvement of human activity in the natural resources. This produces a special kind of landscape - recreational. In many developed countries, areas used for recreation and tourism, are on the third place after the area of agricultural and forest lands. Rapid growth of the global tourism industry and its large economic benefits makes recreational use of land and promising ability to successfully compete and displace other uses. Nature and territories of attention of tourists are vulnerable and fragile, and recreational resources are finite, they are irreplaceable and have limited opportunities. Their spontaneous and irrational usage creates a number of environmental problems in areas of intensive tourism development, both in industrialized countries and in developing countries. Tourism is one of the most profitable trades in the world – depending on where you are! Marketing tourism describes how companies, businesses and individuals advertise their tourism programs or locations. By providing information, offering great deals and creating attractive ads, tourism companies can introduce a large volume of tourists into their location. Transport Transfer of commodities or people from one place to another place is known as transport the things through which transfer takes place are known as vehicles or motors. Bullock-carts, rickshaws, cars, buses, trucks, trains, boats, ships, aero planes and helicopters etc. are examples of different vehicles. All these vehicles need to ply on different ways or routes. Cars, buses, bullock carts and rickshaws ply on the roads. Train moves on the special train line. Boats and ships move from one place to other places on water. Aero planes and helicopters fly in the sky. Transport is divided into four types depending upon the routes. These are road transport, rail transport, water transport and air transport. Transport needs three mediums. These are water, air and surface. Nowadays, people use more private car, which leads to more cars on the road, heavy traffic jam and air pollution. These problems always happen especially in the cities. I agree with the way to solve this problem by encourage people to use public transportation instead of using private cars because it is the best and easy way that people can do. Using public transportation saves a lot of money. Firstly, people do not have to buy their own cars. Even though it is a waste of time that people have to wait for a buses, taxis, subway or sky train, it will not take people a long time to reach their destination because public transportation nowadays are developed to be faster and more convenient for citizens. Therefore, these are the reasons why I agree with the way to decrease congestion and air pollution by encourage people to use less private cars and turn to use more public transportation that government provided. Work Work has a common human practice since the beginning of civilizations. It is the secret behind social progress and the defining characteristic of man. Work as we see it, is a virtue and a necessity. In times of uncertainty, interdependence and market economy, the individual has to rely on his work to ensure his own well-being. Work provides the individual with the ability to be independent, to flourish, to develop, and most importantly, to find a meaning to life. Only a very narrow minded person would suggest that making money is the sole reason why people go to work each day. While money is important, I feel that there are two additional reasons why people hold jobs and go to work. First, working makes one feel that his life is meaningful. Second, regular employment gives us a chance to interact with people outside of our normal social circle. First of all, having employment gives us a sense that our life is meaningful, which is very important in today’s world. The objectives of our job give us something to strive for each day and allow to us make long-term goals about what we want to accomplish. Without a job, people often feel that their life lacks a sense of purpose. Secondly, jobs give us the opportunity to meet new people on a regular basis, which can provide us with a sense of happiness. People who are unemployed interact mostly with their family and pre-existing friends, which can sometimes be boring. In conclusion, I strongly believe that in addition to making money, there are two reasons why people work. They are the opportunity to give their life a sense of purpose, and the chance to interact with people outside of their usual social circle. Download 33.08 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
