COVID 19 Pandemic

Greenwood (2021) claims that the COVID 19 pandemic is a historically significant disaster brought on by SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome). The viruses cause a wide range of illnesses, including organ failure, loss of taste and smell, dry cough, fever, headaches, and muscular pains (Menni et al., 2020). The most important element is that COVID 19 is a hotly contested topic and global progress. In Wuhan, China, "grocery shopping and medical visits," Bolsen et al. (2020) suggest two potential reasons, the first from an unintentional laboratory leak. It's interesting to note that Gertez (2020) asserts that this coronavirus strain is so lethal and infectious that it has been utilized as a destructive biological weapon. The paper contends that nations responded to COVID 19 control measures too slowly. According to Cyranski (2020), China should have stricter control than they did since the country took too long to implement lockdowns. Key elements in decreasing proliferation in nations have been lockdowns, social interaction by closing institutions, and mass testing (Cyranski, 2020). These lockdowns have caused widespread unemployment and business bankruptcies despite the fact that they have had a significant negative impact on the economy. Three vaccines (Pfizer, Oxford-AstraZeneca, and Janssen) have been developed since the pandemic started about a year ago, but it is still unclear whether they will be effective in containing the virus in the UK.

In 2020, many countries across the world experienced periods of lockdown or stay at home quarantines due to the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to changes to reading habits such as increased demands on time Covid-19 is a pandemic caused by Coronavirus, a group of viruses that includes SARS and MERS. Symptoms range from mild to severe, depending on age, ethnicity and physical fitness. Many people who contract Covid-19 are asymptomatic, contributing to its rapid spread around the globe. well before COVID-19 became a hinging factor of daily life across the world, there are numerous parallels between events that take place in the story and what’s happening now. In order to understand both the text itself and the manner in which it is understood by readers, I have adopted a current stylistics technique in this essay that combines reader reaction response data.
In my point of view all nations should step up their levels of readiness, alertness, and reaction to better detect, handle, and treat COVID-19 instances. Recognizing that there is no one technique that works for all COVID-19 cases and outbreaks, nations should be ready to respond to all public health circumstances. Each nation should evaluate its risk and swiftly put the required safeguards in place at the right scale to lessen the spread of COVID-19 and its negative economic, public, and social effects. Commentators on the first idea contend that live animals kept in the food market and their parasites transferred to humans may have been the cause. The virus often mutates and enters a human cell in this scenario when an animal that has been housing the infection comes into touch with a person (Morens et al., 2020). Opponents of the first explanation point out that it is more plausible that this strain of Coronavirus was intentionally created in a lab with the goal to be used as an offensive biological weapon because it is so infectious and lethal (Gertz, 2020).
The first cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Wuhan, China on December 8th, 2019. Chinese officials provided information to the WHO on the 'cluster of viral pneumonia cases from an unknown cause' on 3rd January, 2020, leading to the rapid spread of the virus. By 21st January, the USA had confirmed its first case, and by 315 January, the first two cases had been confirmed in the UK. By 28th February, there were 84,090 confirmed cases in 56 countries globally, and 2,874 deaths due to the virus. A nation's response to the pandemic has a vast impact on the number of cases, and subsequently deaths, the nation would record.
The way different countries dealt with the outbreak differed tremendously. China's Wuhan metropolis was placed under strict surveillance by mid-January; residents were advised to stay inside and limit their outside travel to very essential activities like grocery shopping and medical appointments. Trains and flights leaving Wuhan and the surrounding areas were halted, and roads were blocked. Here I think they had to add more strict limitation on everything in order to not spread virus. Such limitations like allowing only for 1 person from fa,ily to go out in an emergency situations.
Whether COVID 19 and its mutations can be properly regulated in the future is a major worry. The majority of countries are far better prepared than they were in the past to manage COVID-19; they have experience with lockdowns, greater personal protective equipment, and financial assistance for businesses. Sadly, these activities have severe economic repercussions that result in widespread unemployment and business failure. Moreover, three companies—Pfizer, Oxford-AstraZeneca, and Jansen—have successfully developed vaccinations to protect people worldwide against COVID-19. On December 17, 2020, the Pfizer vaccine was given for the first time in the UK. The majority of the populace will begin receiving vaccinations in 2021, starting with those that are more vulnerable.
In conclusion it should be included that all nations had to control their residents just to avoid thish virus on time without any illneses and symptoms. I also loved the part where all countries helped each other in different ways.
