Steps of researching
Several stages are proceeded to conduct this study.
Stage1
The investigator observes lessons. The aim of observing the classes is to find out what approaches are being used.
Stage2
First of all the researcher distributes cards with questions to learners. The aim of handing questions first is to know the participants better and to obtain information about the way learners like to learn new words.

Stage 3
To prepare materials for conducting the lessons. The materials must be appropriate to the level of the learners and should contain the words with connotational meaning.


Step 4
Pre-test was designed by the researcher after one month of observing and collecting data about lessons. Therefore the purpose of taking the pre –test was to see learners’ record without applying the chosen effective ways which is teaching reading with comprehension strategy. The pre-test includes reading texts with some questions.The learners should learn new words and work how to read smartly with comprehension.

Stage 5
To conduct a lesson to using a lesson plan this will have been prepared beforehand.


Stage 6
To interview the learners of group in order to get their feedback about the lesson which have been conducted by the investigator. This helps to know if learners prefer learner-centered teaching and whether they are ready to take the responsibility for their learning.

Step 7
Post-test was taken by the end of the research. By the time the class being experimented has been taught imptroving reading skill through comprehension method.. This test was supposed to check the effectiveness of applying these ways while teaching. The post-test was the equivalent of pre-test; therefore, it included reading passage. The test was designed by the researcher using the materials from the topics which were taught to the learners.


Step 8
The last step in the experimental study was to calculate and analyze the collected data with the help of tables, diagrams and graphs. After finishing the analysis the researcher tried to draw conclusion about the fulfillment of the study and about whether the researcher could accomplish the objectives.
