The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
based on the fact that instead of «non-harmonized» types of religiosity, which 
form destructive religious behavior among students, the manifestation of 
«harmonized» types of religiosity is an important factor in forming constructive 
religious behavior in terms of its effect on subconsciousness; 
proven that «non-harmonized» types of religiosity in students lead to the 
manifestation of negative emotional characteristics, and «harmonized» types of 
religiosity affect cognitive processes and lead to the formation of positive personal 
qualities; 
psychological protection mechanisms that weaken the internal conflicts arising 
as a result of the demands of the external environment of students and young people, 
a differentiation model was created according to the functional components that free 
from personal responsibility, help to justify oneself, and get rid of negative emotions; 
I proved that the manifestation of «non-harmonized» types of religiosity in the 
personality of students is determined by the destructive functions of protective 
mechanisms that release responsibility and relieve negative emotions, while the 
formation of «harmonized» types of religiosity is determined by protective 
mechanisms that help to justify oneself of a relatively constructive nature. 
Implementation of the results of the study. Based on the results of the 
scientific research conducted on the study of the interdependence between the 
mechanisms and religious types of religion: 
In terms of the influence of the manifestation of «harmonized» types of 
religiosity instead of «non-harmonzed» types of religiosity, which form destructive 
religious behavior among students and young people, scientific results are applied to 
the central practice of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, in terms 
of the effect on subconscious activity, which is an important factor in the formation 
of constructive religious behavior ( Reference No. 04-13/952 dated May 21, 2021of 
the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan). As a result of this, one of the 
principles defined in the law «On the State Policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 
Youth» of September 16, 2016 is to ensure the «priority of spiritual, moral and 
cultural values» and «to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, civic sense,

tolerance, respect for laws, national and universal values, served to increase the 
efficiency of implementation in projects related to the implementation of such tasks 
as «educating people who can resist harmful influences and currents, have firm faith 
and views on life»; 
scientific news about the fact that «non-harmonized» types of religiosity in 
students lead to the manifestation of negative emotional characteristics, and 
«harmonized» types of religiosity affect cognitive processes and lead to the formation 
of positive personal qualities Applied to the activity Committee on Religious Affairs 
(Reference No. 02-03/4234 dated July 2, 2021 of the Committee on Religious 
Affairs). As a result, it was used in the development of training programs of training 
courses organized for employees of the religious and educational field at the Training 
Center under the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and its regional 
branches; 
News about the creation of a model of differentiation of the functional 
components that free from personal responsibility, help justify oneself, and relieve 
negative emotions, according to the psychological defense mechanisms that weaken 
the internal conflicts that arise as a result of the demands of the external environment 
of students and young people, according to the distorted perception of external and 
internal reality. Applied to the activity Educational and Scientific Center of 
Psychology at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizomi (Reference 
No. PM-48 a dated August 26, 2021 of the Educational and Scientific Center of 
Psychology at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizomi). As a 
result, the «Ethnopsychology and psychology of religion», «Basics of deviantology» 
and «Social psychology» modules of the Educational and Scientific Center of 
Psychology served to increase the effectiveness; 
If the manifestation of «non-harmonized» types of religiosity in the 
personality of students is determined by the destructive functions of defense 
mechanisms that release responsibility and relieve negative emotions, the formation 
of «harmonized» types of religiosity, on the contrary, is determined by defense 
mechanisms that help justify oneself of a relatively constructive nature. Applied to 
the activities of the Institute for Studying Youth Problems and Training Prospective 
Personnel under the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Reference 
No. 4-17-23-1768 dated July 2, 2021of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan dated). As a result, in ensuring the implementation of the tasks defined in 
Chapter 2, Clause 5 of the concept of the development of state policy regarding youth 
in Uzbekistan until 2025 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 
the education of youth policy in the spirit of love and loyalty to the motherland, 
family, independence, respect for national and universal values, and the research 
conducted in 2021 it has been achieved to increase the efficiency of scientific 
analysis and interpretation of the results of work.
