Element 3. Corpus based examples.

To overcome most challenging grammar point of my L2 learners, I made up mind to choose the topic of differentiating possessive pronouns and possessive adjectives, which most of my students get confused to use them in the general and academic English. As Folse (2009) noticed, “ English language learners get confused his and her and sometimes they add plural suffix before a noun , for example: ours books.”(p.54). In these cases my pupils mostly cannot differentiate both similar grammar patterns.
