Fig. 1. Isotherms of benzene vapors adsorption at 293 о K on activated carbons: 1- CA-1831; 2- KAU-M; 3- AR-3 The sorption characteristics for the researched activated carbons on benzene calculated on the adsorption isotherms (Table. 1). In order to study the kinetics of the petrol vapors recovery by diesel fuel, 60 liter absorption pilot plant was made. With its help pattern was set: as pouring into the tank petrol capacity grew its marginal losses from evaporation increased. In addition, it was shown that its losses with increasing temperature rose. 1 2 3 60 Таble 1 Adsorption (α, mole / kg), and adsorption volume (W, m 3 /kg) of activated carbons at Р/Р s : 0.2 (α, W); 0.4 (α 0 , W 0 ); 1.0 (α S , V S ), mezopore’s volume W me = V S - W 0 Аdsorbent Parameters adsorption of benzene on carbon adsorbents α W·10 3 α 0 W 0 ·10 3 α S V S ·10 3 W me ·10 3 СА-1831 4.7 0.414 5.6 0.493 10.1 0.889 0.369 KAU-M 3.3 0.290 3.3 0.290 4.2 0.369 0.079 АR-3 0.6 0.053 0.7 0.062 0.90 0.079 0.017 By increasing the capacity of tank from 25 to 60 liters the losses per unit volume of the poured petrol with same an initial concentration of hydrocarbons in them of GS and pumping volume, leads to increase in a warm room by 32.0%, and in the cold by 25.1 %. This phenomenon can be explained by the rapid saturation of the GS of larger tank due to evaporated petrol, as well as due to the larger area of the fluid surface (Table. 2). Download 1.67 Mb.
