Objectives: to consolidate the learnt numbers;
to practise writing the numbers.
Ask the pupils to open their Workbooks on Page 41 and writethe numbers in the gaps as shown. Ask the pupils to pronouncethe numbers while writing.
Activity 3 Play “Numbers”. 10 min
Objective: to do physical exercise and energise the pupils with
the numbers 11-20
Option 1: While counting from 11 to 20, the pupils developautomatic memorization of numbers one after another. Ask thepupils to come to the board and make a circle. Tell them to countfrom 11 to 20 in turns. If any of the pupils makes a mistake (saysa wrong number), this pupil should sit down. The pupils whocount without a mistake will be the winners.
Option 2: Ask the pupils to come to the board and make a circle.Throw a ball to a pupil and say any number. Help that pupilto say the next number. (It can be Number + 1, Number + 2 etc).
