Objectives: to revise animals; to have fun.
Ask the pupils to look at the tree and count the animals.When they finish, ask them to open their Workbooks and matchthe numbers and the pictures of the animals from the tree bydrawing a line between them as shown.Answer key: 3 dogs, 4 cats, 7 lions and 10 bees.
Activity 5b Look, listen and repeat.
Objectives: to learn the rhyme; to have fun.
Ask the pupils to listen to the DVD and repeat the rhyme.

Then ask the pupils to look at the pictures with numbers in Activity 5a in their Workbooks and say the rhyme.

Draw the pupils’ attention to Page 5 in their Workbooks. Saythat their homework is on this page. Ask whether the homeworkis clear to them. If necessary, explain that they should matchnumbers and pictures in Activity 2 by drawing a line betweenthem as shown. Say that they should also colour the pictures.Say that they should also continue writing the letters in
Activity 1 on Page 4.
