We regret to inform you that your Application for Admission to the above-named degree program has been rejected. The

reason. are as follows:

Insufficient ECTS in business subjects

According to § 4 section 1 c) of the statute of selection of the University of Mannheim for the selection process of the

master's program of study "Mannheim Master in Management" dating 12th December, 2011 – last changes on 22th

March, 2018 – one admission requirement is – among others – a completed bachelor's degree course either in Business

Administration or a degree course that is recognized as equivalent with Business Administration or related studies at a

university in Germany or abroad or at an officially recognized Berufsakademie (university of cooperative education). The

bachelor's degree course must comprise a share of business subjects of at least 36 ECTS points or of an equivalent

amount.

The amount of business subjects in your first degree course does not meet the minimum requirements.

According to section 1 subsection 2 of the statues on adapting the examination procedure for the fall semester

2020/2021 for the master's programs at the University of Mannheim to manage the challenges of the coronavirus

pandemic (Corona-Satzung Master) from 16 April 2020, the application for admission form must be submitted

electronically in the form required by the University of Mannheim. Clear instructions were provided, that all supporting

documents must be uploaded in the corresponding upload fields. Only the uploaded documents in the uploading fields

will be considered.

You can appeal this notification within a period of one month after issuance. A formal appeal needs to be filed in writing

or verbally on record with the Verwaltungsgericht Karlsruhe, Nördliche Hildapromenade 1, 76133 Karlsruhe.
