The Technology & Innovation Centre and the surrounding International Technology & Renewable Energy Zone (ITREZ), are expected to generate 700 new jobs and attract millions of pounds of inward investment to Glasgow.
At £89 million, the project is Strathclyde’s single-biggest investment in our research and technology collaboration capacity. Our innovative approach has attracted financial backing from Scottish Enterprise, the Scottish Funding Council and the European Regional Development Fund who recognise the Technology & Innovation Centre's potential to redefine the way Scottish Higher Education works with industry.
