The Technology & Innovation Centre is the cornerstone of Scotland’s International Technology and Renewable Energy Zone.

ITREZ is a global research & development hub, bringing business and academia together to work together on the development of the offshore renewables sector.

An alliance of the public and private sectors with academia, ITREZ will establish Glasgow as an internationally recognised location for research, development, design and engineering of renewables and a range of associated enabling technologies.

Scottish Enterprise’s 'inovo' Industry Engagement Building opened for business in Autumn 2013 to provide a range of office suites for companies wanting to be based in ITREZ Glasgow, and or looking to be next to the University of Strathclyde’s Technology & Innovation Centre, to collaborate on key areas of renewable energy research.
