Interpersonal communication involves the face-to-face exchange of thoughts, ideas, feelings and emotions between two or more people. This includes both verbal and nonverbal elements of personal interaction. Employers seek candidates with interpersonal skills as they contribute to the efficiency of teamwork and business communications. Continuous pursuit of self-improvement and confidence can benefit your personal and professional relationships, and knowing strengths and weaknesses regarding social interactions can help. In our life Interpersonal communication need, it helps us to express our thoughts to others better and for more information, and the ability of speaking and listening also an important role in interpersonal skills, and dealing with people. I definitely had self-improvement because I changed a lot and I got rid of some bad habits, because I realized that such bad treatment and not solving it in a short time will not solve it quickly, and all this has an impact in the future. In 1936, Dale Carnegie published How to Win Friends and Influence People—it is now one of the best-selling books of all time. He offered seemingly simple advice like be a good listener; don’t criticize, condemn, or complain; and try to see things from someone else’s perspective. Having sold over 30 million copies in 36 languages, Carnegie's book (and legacy) reminds us that a desire to improve one’s interpersonal skills resonates with people. How to Win Friends and Influence People (Dale Carnegie)Self-reflection is a critical part of expanding your interpersonal skills. While some discomfort is expected during growth periods, it is important to feel comfortable and confident in the way you are approaching interpersonal situations. Positive feelings indicate that I found a productive path for building my skills, while negative feelings can indicate that I may benefit from an alternative approach. Iterating on my action plan along the way can enable me to develop a lasting skill set. Conclusion Anyone's self-development starts, as it must, with one's self-understanding to guide one's own action, and is a process in which self-understanding develops as action is taken and reviewed. Formal efforts at social "development" have, However, been in the hands of elites who have in general considered themselves wiser than the people, and instead of seeking to promote the people's self- inquiry and understanding have sought to impose their own ideas of "development". Based on the task written above, this Personal development or self-improvement consists of activities that develop a person's capabilities and potential, build human capital, facilitate employability, and enhance quality of life and the realization of dreams and aspirations.
