Implementation of research results. Based on scientific results and practical proposals developed to improve the teaching of terminological vocabulary to improve the professional competence of specialists in the field of robotics of higher educational institutions:
- the content of the textbook "English in the field of robotics" (in English) includes recommendations for improving the methodology of teaching terminological vocabulary of career-oriented English by forming an effective system of exercises based on the integration of speech skills with the help of innovative pedagogical technologies. (Reference No 388-289, dated November 25, 2022 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan). As a result, conditions have been created to determine the characteristics of one of the components of the curriculum – topics focused on robotics;
-recommendations based on the provision of lexical skills of the English language for professionally oriented students, a typology of terms of the robotics industry was compiled and the development of statistical, methodological and linguistic criteria for choosing a terminological minimum were used to ensure the fulfillment of tasks set within the framework of the STEAM grant - “English for students: science, technology, engineering and mathematics" (SUZ 800-14-gr-102 ).(Reference No. 40/01 – 216 dated March 17, 2023 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan). As a result, it became possible to analyze the state of teaching English in the educational direction of robotics;
-authentic materials aimed at improving the professional competence of students by teaching terminological vocabulary, as well as the difference of terms in a technical context, were clarified by comparative analysis and comparison, recommendations for the development of an educational model were used to ensure the fulfillment of tasks, delivered within the framework of the Erasmus+ program project “modernization of the Bachelor's degree in mechatronics and robotics in Uzbekistan based on modern digital technologies and innovative ideas” (609564 2019 1-El-EPPKA 2-CBHE).(Reference No. 38-05/1-454 dated January 3, 2023 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan). As a result, an indication of the place of terminological vocabulary in improving the professional competence of students of the robotics educational direction has been achieved;
- recommendations for improving the complex of special (speech) skills and abilities of language material, expressing as a means of communication special situations related to the profession, fields of activity, topics, situations, speech actions and materials aimed at professional activity, the development of professional competence of future specialists in teaching them English are included in the textbook "English the language of the field of robotics (in English)" (Reference No. 388-289 dated November 25, 2022 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan). As a result, the effectiveness of the development of a system of exercises for students in the field of robotics on the use of professional English and terms in speech through the integration of skills has increased;
- theoretical conclusions about pedagogical, methodological and psychological features of teaching terminological vocabulary to improve the professional competence of students of the educational direction "Robotics", were used in the scenarios of radio and television programs "Education and Progress", "Children and we", "Youth of Uzbekistan", prepared by the editorial office of the TV and radio channel "Uzbekistan" of the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan "Cultural andeducational and artistic broadcasting (Reference No. Oz/k-04-36-1412 dated September 19, 2023 of the TV and radio channel “Uzbekistan”). As a result, radio listeners had the opportunity to analyze the situation with teaching English in the field of robotics education and study the problems of the development of terminological vocabulary of students, and also received information about the role and significance of terminological vocabulary in improving the professional competence of students in this educational direction.
