Usage instruction of multimedia applications for Kids’ English

The instruction to multimedia applications for “Kids’ English”.

Content:
1. This application consists of 14 units.

2. Each unit consists of 4 lessons. In each unit there is a supplementary material for the lessons, the interactive tests and cartoons “Gogo’s adventures” to consolidate the material.
3. There is a demo version for DVD player.

Operation manual

1. 
   To start the program you should click on the following icon:
   

After entering the program you will see a flying plane with children, some boats and balloons. The numbers on boats and balloons correspond to the units.

To enter the unit you have to double click on it with the left mouse button.

2. The cover of the unit consists of a carousel, which has 4 booths with numbers 1-4 which correspond to the lessons of this unit. Also on this page you can see 2 more icons: a dinosaur Gogo and a question mark.

To select the lesson double-click the left mouse button on it.

You’ll see a screen saver which shows the content of the lesson:
Books icon is a vocabulary application.
TV icon is a video application.
PIANO-KEYBOARD icon is an application with animated songs. Headphones icon is for the pronunciation of phrases and words with different speed (slow, normal, fast).
Tablet icon with a short brush is an application with animations. To select the wanted icon, move the cursor to it and click it twice. In order to get out of this category you will need to click on the “X” icon in the upper right corner.


To view the tutorial cartoon “Gogo” you must hover your mouse over a dinosaur and click two times the left mouse button and there is a video player with a cartoon on the screen.

To come back to the menu of the unit after watching a cartoon, click on the icon of the house in the upper left corner.

To enter a test you must double click the left mouse button on the question mark.

The tests consist of two options:
Option 1. You can listen to the word, by selecting the image and clicking on the mouse.

Option 2. In this option you can listen to words and match them to the pictures. To listen to the words you should click the speaker. If the answer is wrong the speaker goes back in its place. In order to exit the test page you should click on the icon of the house in the upper left corner.

3 . Also on the main cover you can see a musical treble clef. By double-clicking on it you'll see a folder with the songs. Teachers can use these songs as additional material in the class. In order to get out of that folder you need to click on the X in the upper right corner.
4. If you want to move to another unit without going to the home page you can use the buttons that are located on the bottom of each lesson “next” or “back”.
