On the Internet there is an opinion that grammar is not necessary. Allegedly, we mastered the Russian or any other language before studying the rules at school, which means that with a foreign language it will turn out the same way. However, the principle of perception of information in adults is somewhat different from the principle of infants. Firstly, we are not immersed in the linguistic environment, but can only imitate it, at best, several hours a week. Secondly, logic is a thing no less stubborn than facts. Psychologists say: if a child takes everything on faith, not understanding why one word is after another, and not vice versa, then an adult needs to justify everything from the point of view of logic. So that we can use a phrase in our speech, it’s not enough just to memorize it, it will be much more efficient to understand it: why it is constructed in this way and not otherwise. Learning grammar seems a supernatural task for many, but if you look at it, there is nothing scary and complicated.

In fact, everyone can safely learn three foreign languages. The main thing is to set a goal and work diligently, systematically.
