p SUMMER BUS STOPS Bus stops are located along the street at the bus stop signs (except for the Mountain Mall stop which is located in the parking lot). The bus stops only at designated stops. Mountain Mall, Whitefish Bus Stop: Parking lot next to McDonald’s A designated summer S.N.O.W. bus/Glacier Express bus parking area. Mountain Cinema movie theaters (406-862-3130), Super 1 grocery store and shopping are in the mall. Whitefish Library, North Parking Lot Bus Stop: Downtown Whitefish, SE corner of Spokane Ave. & Depot St. All day parking area is located north of Whitefish Community Library. Close to Whitefish Performing Arts Center at Middle School and O’Shaughnessy Center (406-862-5371) and Central Avenue. Central Avenue is a hot spot for award-winning restaurants, shopping, cafes, galleries, live music, and legendary bars. The Apgar Visitor Center serves as the primary shuttle stop for the fare-free Glacier National Park Shuttle System. The Glacier Park Express will load and unload at the pedestrian pickup and drop-off area bordering the visitor center parking lot. The park shuttle boards on the opposite side of the visitor center plaza. The Apgar Visitor Center is open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00
pm during the summer. Glacier National Park Shuttle System Glacier National Park operates a fare-free shuttle system for park visitors. Shuttles arrive every ~30 minutes at the shuttle stops on the park’s west side. Buses routinely fill to capacity so visitors are encouraged to plan ahead. The estimated travel time from the Apgar Visitor Center to Avalanche Creek is 45 minutes. The estimated travel time from Avalanche Creek to Logan Pass is 50 minutes. After 9:00 am , west side shuttle service to Logan Pass will require a transfer at Avalanche Creek. All passengers are required to unload at the Logan Pass Shuttle Stop. The last departure from Logan Pass to the Apgar Visitor Center is 7:00 pm and the last departure from Avalanche Creek to the Apgar Visitor Center is 6:20 pm . Glacier National Park Entrance Fees The ticket price for the Glacier Park Express does not include the cost of the entrance fee required by Glacier National Park. Park personnel will board the bus at the West Entrance Station and collect payment by credit card only. Entrance passes are $15 per person or $30 per vehicle equivalent (e.g., family).
