Importance in the national economy. This plant is widespread in Central Asia and has been cultivated since ancient times. Peas are used for various stews and preserves. Adding 10-15% of peas to wheat flour increases their nutritional value in the preparation of bread, macaroni and confectionery products.
It is possible to prepare milky foods for young children from chickpea flour. Immature pea seeds can be eaten as vegetable products.
Peas are used as protein mixture feed in animal husbandry, especially in pigs.
Adding chickpeas to their food increases cow's milk, accelerates the growth of young calves and piglets, and increases the egg production of chickens. Brown pea seeds are used for fodder, and they are crushed and added to mixed fodder in the form of groats.

Peas are heat-demanding plants, but their seeds germinate at 3-4°C and germinate at 5-6°C. If the air temperature is 25-26°C, it will germinate in 56 days.
Young grasses of peas are frost-resistant at -5-6°. It is rarely damaged by spring frosts. Sprouted pea plants require heat. The air temperature should not be lower than 20°C, especially during flowering and fruiting. The useful temperature for the plant from germination to fruiting should be 1800-2000°C. But even in years with relatively low air temperature, pea seeds ripen.

When peas are plowed in late fall, the weeds will turn green faster, and the roots of the sprouted weeds will be cut off before planting, and the soil will be much cleaner from weeds. It is not necessary to harrow plowed lands in autumn. Before planting, the plow is softened to a depth of 5-7 cm with the help of hanging cultivators. To preserve moisture, immediately after plowing, it is necessary to pour egate into the kundalang to preserve snow and rainwater. Egates can also be obtained in cultivators. To do this, it is necessary to dig the cultivator with a 60-70 cm wide rake (trench) at a depth of 12-15 cm. This work can be done with special plugs.

Cultivation method. Grains for peas, pulses and sunflowers. Also, peas are good successor crops. In crop rotation, when peas are planted long after grain or field crops, the yield is 23% higher, and diseases and pests are very rare. If it is planted on dry land after alfalfa or peas, there will be many diseases and pests. In arid lands, the accumulation of sufficient soil moisture from cultivation does not occur every year.
