The line graph gives information about the consumption rate of fish and three various types of meat namely beef, lamb, chicken in one country of Europe from 1979 to 2004.


Overall,dispite chicken was less eaten by people of an European country, it exceeded all other meat types.However, fish stood at the same rate of meat consumption for the whole period.Units are measured in grams per person per week.


It can be clearly seen that there was an increasing trend in chicken consumption over the period shown. In 1979, chicken was consumed less than 150 grams by comsumers ,but this figure was more than over 2 times compared to fish consumption in the same year.Until 1989, this percentage of meat eating increased considerably to around 200 grams and exceeded the beef consumption which was dominant till this year.After which,it rose with some flactuations as a most eating meat type to the end of time interval.By contrast, fish was consumed in relatively similar amount of around 50 grams by people in a week dispite there was a negligible decline of approximately 10% in starting years.


As for beef and lamb consumptions,these meat types saw declining trends overall.
Having kept the dominance over all meat consumptions with about 220 grams,in 1979 ,beef became second most eaten meat type after 1989 and dropped significantly less than 2 times and stopped at nearly 100 grams per person per week.
As lamb is concerned, this meat was eaten exact 150 grams weekly in 1979 , but this figure dropped suddenly almost 3 times compared to first amount of its and it was eaten in the same amount of initial fish percentage in 2004. (273 words)
