-T. post photos of 2 different nations wearing their traditional costumes and asks Ss to guess the name of coming topic. Ss predict and answer the question: What nationality are these people? What proves their being__________ (possible answers: Uzbek, English, Turkmen, Russian and etc.)?

-T introduces the topic and asks Ss to make a dictionary search of the word “Costume”
-Ss give the dictionary variations (possible answer. Costume an actress costume is the set of clothes they wear while they are performing/ the clothes worn by people at a particular time history/ a complete style of dressing, ncluding all the clothes, accessories…..)
-T divides the group into 4 teams and distributes Handout #1. T asks Ss to match the photos with national identities written in the table
-Team representatives present their options using the constructions: “This costume belons to ……… because……….”

-T gives an imaginary situation: “Imagine you have to make a country report presentation in one of London Universities. What Uzbek traditional costume would you prefer to appear in on the stage?".
-T asks Ss to draw their imaginary appearance in traditional customes for country reort presentation
-Ss creatively put down on a poster their design and present it.
