Energy and resource saving environmentally friendly cement production technologies

Cement (Latin: caementum - gravel) is an artificial inorganic powdered binding mineral. When water is added, a doughy mass is formed, which hardens over time and turns into a rocky body. Cement has the property of hardening both in air and in water. Cement is the main component of concrete, which is widely used in construction.

Cement

  • There are types of cement such as Romancement, portland cement, aluminocement, expanding cement, hydraulic additive. Romancement is obtained by burning limestone to 900°, then grinding it into powder. Depending on the quality of the raw materials, Romancement’s hardening time can be from 15 minutes to 24 hours. Its strength is quite low, ranging from 25 to 100 marks.

Reinforced concrete

  • It is characterized by fast hardening, high strength and resistance to mineralized waters. Brand 300; 400; 500. The price is 2.5-3 times higher than Portland cement. Aluminous cement is used in concrete and reinforced concrete structures that require high strength, in structures exposed to sea and mineralized waters, in high-speed road and construction works, and in winter concreting.

Expansive cement

  • Expansive cement includes lime and gypsum in addition to alumina cement; hardens quickly; It is a very strong and waterproof material. Expandable Cement is used in waterproofing works, seam sealing and repair works. Portland cement with hydraulic additives (sometimes called “putsolan portland cement”) is prepared by grinding together cement clinker (stone) and sour hydraulic additives (trepel, diatomite, trass, pumice, etc.).

Glinose cement

  • Alumina cement is obtained by burning a mixture of bauxite (aluminum ore), lime or limestone, rocks rich in alumina (aluminum oxide). Chemical composition 40% SaO; 40% A12O3; It consists of 6-8% SiO2. It is characterized by fast hardening, high strength and resistance to mineralized waters. Brand 300; 400; 500. The price is 2.5-3 times higher than Portland cement.

  • Hydraulic additives can make up 20-40% of the mixture. This cement is cheaper than portland cement and is used in hydraulic engineering, water supply and sewage works. Resistant to aggressive waters. Cement has been produced in the industry since the 19th century.

Concrete brands

  • GOSTs and construction standards and regulations regulate concrete grades M50-M1000. At the same time, concrete grades are used in residential buildings, high-rise and multi-story buildings – from M100 to M400 from 50 units (M100, M150, M200, etc.), in rare cases, especially important structures, concrete for. Classes are used: M500 or M600 …

What exactly does concrete brand mean?

  • What exactly does concrete brand mean? Building structures cast from M150 concrete can withstand static pressure loads – from 130 to 160 kilograms per square centimeter. In this case, the number “150” is the average value involved in engineering calculations during design. The exact value of compressive strength (accordingly, to accurately determine the class of concrete) can be obtained by conducting special laboratory tests, by “crushing” a specified sample of the specified building material.
