- consolidation of informal communications;
- rest, good spirits.
Legend of the game: You are holding in your hands an old map fragment on which the place
where the Emir of Bukhara buried his treasures to hide them from his enemies. But the map is
encoded and before you start out you have to solve its riddle!
Competition objective: to learn the city themselves and find a lost monument on the map which is
usually never included in the tour itinerary.
Division of the team into 4-5 groups, 10 persons in each. Each group receives its own project
which is to be implemented by their own efforts in a foreign country.
That means to prepare a product made with their own hands and to sell it in the Oriental
Bazaar.
Influence of "Oriental Bazaar" on selling skills
Objective: to make a maximum profit out of selling the commodity introducing new ideas of successful
sales; for this purpose all the efforts should be made and all the skills should be used. After the
participants get their tasks and the type of product they have to make, they will be given the certain time
for making of a business plan of sales, advertisement, slogans and other methods required for selling of
commodity. The skills of active search of customers, waiting and patience may be involved; an attempt of
“winding a customer round the little finger” and other selling methods are possible to use.
Venue: a premise specially equipped in imitation of the Oriental Bazaar with the Oriental coloring so
characteristic of it (screams, haggling, smell of spices, a rave of color, filchers, brisk commerce)
Competition is typically fierce.
