Personal Statement & Study Plan

[Q1] Describe a bit about your background — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your goals and aspirations.
Initially, I was born in Karshi city which located in south site of Uzbekistan. This city has a long history that is belong to some known people. Substantive, my area is in the center of city and very calm. In my district’s population are honest and hospitable. My locality includes approximately 3000 people. Honestly, I have immediate family, as in my family have 5 members. My father’s occupation is related to business. Besides that, my mother also works, she is a lawyer in private notary. If I tell about myself, I am a graduate of the 19th school in Karshi city. My sister is in last year of high school like me. My little brother is a pupil in 15th school. I made most of my achievements at school. I can give an example and say that I participated in Olympiads in English and mathematics, achieved several accomplishments and was awarded with diplomas. In addition, I actively participated in many organizations and cleaning days. Regarding on my future plans, I am going to make all my goals come true. For instance, to be a child who will brighten the face of the father and mother, to have a good education, to find an interesting and enjoyable job.

[Q2] Tell us about your personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that best describes you as a person. What quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?

Firstly, I am a pupil and this year is in my last year of high school which situated in Karshi. I have leadership skills according to my teachers at school. Stopping on my temperements, I am really outgoing person with people in communication. Furthermore, I am hospitality person. I have a sense of responsibility and activity skills. In addition, I am a leader of the Union of Youth at school this is due to the fact that I always tried to prepare all work sincerely and am able to quickly agree with all people. If I say about my hobbies, I am a girl who loves books a lot. I do not imagine my life without books. Besides that, sometimes I play volleyball and football at school area. In addition I am very good at math, that’s why I have been interested in dong mathematical examples since I was a child. So I participated some competitions at school. For example, at once time I attended competition which was represented by Union of Youth. And I won 2nd grade, I was dissapoineted much, however I tried to hardly after it. Additionly, I can say that my interest in law is very high. I try to study law and regulations when I have free time.

[Q3] What is your intended major? Discuss how your interest in the subject developed and describe any experience you have had in the field—such as volunteer work, internships and employment, participation in student organizations and activities—and what you have gained from your involvement in them.

I decided to study and work in Economics as my father and grandfather also work in Economics. In my opinion, interest in this field is inherited from them to me. Furthermore, I have been interested in mathematical calculations and calculating expenses in our house since I was young that’s why these factors motivated me to choose International Economics and Low. Moreover, I should mention that, I work as an accountant in education center and regular work. I always try my best and shown my all skills. Besides that, recently, my mother opened a private store and she hired me as an accountant. At first, it was a bit hard for me to work here. Since I mainly interacted with my peers, and in my mother’s store I had to interact with people older than me. I was convinced that older people are very capricious, and this motivated me to work more on myself and try to get along with people better. What is more, it’s my responsibility to manage the workers in the store and pay attention to every little factor which made me responsible in life. Of course, I go to store in my extra time from studying and it makes me use my time well. I worked as strong as possible. Finally, as I said, I took a big experience and it taught me to be focused and complete a work with responsibility, also it gives me several skills such as hard working, problem solving and planning skills. I helped salespersons and communicate with the variety people. It developed my communication skills and made me outgoing person with every single person, moreover, I am always ready to give helping hand to others. It was the best feeling to see smile on customers’ face. So, I was attached by this sphere.

In addition, I would say that I am really interested to Korean culture and study in Hankuk University is one of mydreams. Regarding on my other aspects. As I said, I won several competitions on math and I was active on online olymiads. Besides that, I really keen on outdoor activites like volleyball and football. Despite being a girl, I was part of football team in my school. My passion always towards success and I want to achieve all my goals. I am sure that Hankuk University can help me to do this.
