Abstract- The thesis provides a brief overview of comments on discovering English with Sketch Engine. In addition, by introducing the Sketch Engine we show how corpora can be used in language teaching and can be led to a higher demand for practical knowledge and skills, which new language analysis tools and corpora can access to substantial numbers of electronic texts and how to use them. Moreover, we can see how much researchers, lexicographers, terminologists, translators and language instructors are interested in this big electronic data in science.

Key words: corpus analysis, corpora, Sketch Engine Platform, core system functions.
I. Introduction
The development of this kind of new language analysis tools in science will change the world, will lead the responsibility. So, it might be related to language teaching. The word corpus, in plural corpora, comes from Latin and means “body”: in linguistics it represents large and structured collection of pieces of language, so-called when used for language research, and it may be anything from newspaper articles, to transcripts of everyday conversations or chat shows or lectures, to novels or letters or advertising brochures or shopping lists. These corpora and a specialized search engine are combined by online software in many languages, which is called Sketch Engine. The data returned from searches can be presented as concordance lines, collocation lists, word clouds, word sketches, bundles and chunks. The data processing can be at all levels: letters, morphemes, words, clauses, phrases, chunks, sentences and texts.
SkE is a set of software tools for corpus analysis developed by Lexical Computing Ltd. The system was created by a British lexicographer and corpus linguist, Adam Kilgarriff, and a Czech programmer, Pavel Rychlý. Initially supplied with corpora in just three languages, Czech, Irish and English (Kilgarriff et al., 2004), the system was immediately appreciated by major dictionary projects. Today lexicographers from Cambridge University Press, Macmillan, Harper Collins, Oxford University Press use SkE as one of their corpus analysis tools of choice (Kilgarriff et al., 2014a, p. 15).
