Imperative mood (buyruq istak mayli)
Buyruq istak mayli deb barcha buyruq va istak gaplarga deyiladi. Buyruq berishda va iltimos bildirishda doim II shaxs “YOU” ga qaratilgandir. Bo’lishli buyruq, istak V1 bilan, bo’lishsiz buyruq, istak esa Do not V1 yoki Don’t V1 bilan boshlanadi.
