REFLECTION
of D.Xudoynazarova
I am going to explain my practical process in this writing task . Our practice consisted of 24 days which included three parts , the first preparing part , the second main part , the third closing part .
On the 3-february , administration of our institute organized meeting and they inform us the practice progress clearly .
Then we started our work . I chose my school that I was educated which is located in Samarkand , Urgut , school №62 . At first because of passive practice learners , we had to watch and analyze the lessons . While we were on the preparing part , we learnt the teachers learning styles , teaching methods . I tried to help the teacher , but I couldn't teach yet . Also I was introduced the administration , layout , documents of the school and class , sponsor organizations , Youth Union works and so on .
When I came to the main part's second period , the teachers gave an opportunity to teach the pupils . At that time I felt myself as a teacher . Every teacher has its own way of teaching and tries to do his / her lesson like a piece of art . From the very beginning of my teaching activity I came to the conclusion that it is necessary to find something new in the process of teaching , to find fresh approaches in methodology of teaching the pupils . Looking through varios recources I realized that only teaching of communication gives the learners the real ability to speak and to know a foreign language properly . Together with the other methods communicative approach is the most productive and useful in getting the goal .
The teacher should be sensitive to pupils ' level of confidence and give them just what they need to be successful . Teacher and pupils are whole persons .
While teaching , I use various techniques - grammar and language games , role plays , question and answer work , dialogue memorization , pair and group work , puzzles , problem - solving , brainstorming , word - clustering , gallery work , etc. All my lessons I begin with something unusual . It may be a box of questions , warm up activities or a song.Every lesson I tried to encourage and motivate them , I started and finished with a kind smile , I used everyday phrases , greetings , rhymes , action songs , useful vocabulary which pupils need . I know that language is an interactive process , pupils learn language and play , dance , sing at the same developing vocabulary and structures . moment while
Everybody knows that the teacher is a key- figure in the teaching process . I followed this wise opinion during practice : " A mediocre teacher tells , a good teacher explains , a superior teacher demonstrates , a great teacher inspires " .
Summarizing all these I may say that all this theory helps me to understand how to teach , what to teach . I see that there is a close link between theory and practice . Theory should be derived from practice . Such orientation allows theory to be integrated with practice .
