Seasons - spring, summer, autumn, winter. The change of the seasons is caused by the deviation of the Earth's rotation axis relative to the plane of the orbit (the path of the Earth's rotation around the Sun) (66°33'). As the Earth revolves around the Sun, the direction of the Earth's axis does not change. Therefore, the Earth rotates around the Sun. pole, one Jean. the pole faces the Sun. Pants. West when the pole is opposite the Sun. hemisphere gets warmer, Jean. and when the pole faces the Sun, Jan. hemisphere warms more. Then the seasons change. Pants. as the beginning of the spring season in the hemisphere - the time when the Sun passes through the vernal equinox (March 21-22); the beginning of the summer season when the Sun passes through the summer solstice (June 21-22); the beginning of the autumn season - the passage of the Sun through the autumnal equinox (September 23) and the beginning of winter - the passage of the Sun over the winter solstice (December 21-22). In the Southern Hemisphere, the opposite is true.

Seasons do not differ from each other everywhere on Earth. For example, near the equator, the air is always the same. In the places adjacent to these countries on both sides (countries near the equator), the year is divided into 2 seasons: dry and rainy season. In the latitudes where Uzbekistan is located, the spring and autumn seasons are shorter (about 2 months), and the summer season is longer (about 5 months). In polar countries, on the contrary, summer is very short and winter lasts long.

Astronomical length of the seasons: spring is 92.8 days, summer is 93.6 days, autumn is 89.8 days and winter is 89.0 days, but the length of the seasons varies in different zones.
It is known that a full year on Earth has 4 seasons: autumn, winter, spring and summer. Seasons are the movements of the earth in its orbit around the sun. Depending on the latitude and altitude we are within the planet, the changes in meteorology and climatology can be minimal or maximal. So maybe the seasons are very important and differential or something like that.

In the mid-latitude regions of the planet, the climate varies greatly throughout the year. Climate stations have more or less similar characteristics in all zones of this latitude. Changes in temperature, precipitation, wind, etc. They affect the landscape because it is mixed with the phenology of the organisms that inhabit them.

In urban areas, the landscape is also affected as human activity changes with the seasons. Viewing coastal areas in mid-summer is not the same as in winter. Both the activity and the decoration, the presence or absence of people on the beaches change the landscape.

In general, we are talking about 3 seasons of the year that last more or less 4 months. There are regions on our planet where there are only two seasons a year: one is wet and the other is dry. This happens, for example, in monsoon areas. Monsoons are abundant rainfall in tropical regions. They occur at a certain time of the year and cause severe floods.

Causes and consequences

We will learn what causes the seasons and how they affect life on earth. Our axis is inclined to the plane of the orbit, which rotates around the Sun by 23 degrees. This means that some areas of the Earth receive different amounts of sunlight at different times of the year.
Climate changes in different parts of the planet are more different in cold and temperate zones and milder in the tropics. For example, as we approach the equator, there is not much variation in climate throughout the year. This is because they almost always receive the same amount of sunlight, even though we are in different orbits relative to the sun.Seasons are usually distinguished by climatic seasons. These seasons last about 3 months and depend on the inclination of the Earth's axis. One might think that it will be hotter in the summer because our planet is closer to the Sun, but this is not the case. Conversely, the distance from the Earth to the Sun is greater in summer than in winter. All of this refers to the Northern Hemisphere. But, as in winter, the sun's rays tend to be more, the temperature is lower.
4 seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In the first two we have more features of day than night, and in the other two it is the other way around. The variety of climate we have mentioned is not the same in the northern hemisphere as it is in the south, as it is related to the inclination of the Earth's axis. Both hemispheres have opposite effects. It is summer in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere. We can also see how when spring begins in one hemisphere, autumn begins in the other.
