COTTON SEEDS) 
 Technological chain of processing of cotton-raw
After process of a dzhinirovaniye on seeds there is a cover consisting of rather 
short fibrils wearing the name of cotton lint (16 mm) and the delint (6 mm). 
Depending on a sort of the processed cotton the quantity remaining on seeds of 
cotton lint and the delint variously also fluctuates on average from 11 to 17% (to 
the initial mass of seeds) for cotton the srednevoloknistykh of sorts and from 2,4 to 
5% - for fine-fibered. 
Linterovany is called process of removal of a short fiber (16 mm) from seeds. 
The production requirements imposed to process of a linterovaniye are: 
1) In case of a linterovaniye seeds and natural properties of lint shall not be 
damaged; 
2) Lint shall not contain shredded seeds; 
3) The contamination of lint by a thin skin with a fiber is not allowed; 
4) In the linternykh machines it is necessary to provide elements of monitoring 
and regulation of an opushennost of seeds. 
The seeds quitting the working camera gins have the considerable level of 
contamination small-sized weed impurity therefore for process optimization of 
cleaning it is necessary to provide technological transition – preparation of seeds 
for process of a linterovaniye, by its cleaning on the special equipment.

Cleaning of seeds after a dzhinirovaniye in the continuous technological 
process allows not only to reduce contamination of Linter, but also to protect teeths 
of saws of linter from damage and premature wear.
