I consider myself mature and independent, focused on my life; I have faced challenges that have made me strong, determined, and responsible; I have goals that I strive for, and I have an unbreakable spirit to achieve these dreams without fear of failure. Recently, I heard about the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program that enables international students to gain expertise in their chosen field in Hungary on a full scholarship. I am determined to apply to this program for a few reasons.
Firstly, the location of Hungary attracted my attention. It is nearly in the heart of Central Europe, making it easily accessible by land, water, and air transport. I think Central European countries can fascinate me with their high living standards, beautiful landscapes, and ancient architecture.
After finishing my undergraduate degree in economics, it has always been a goal of mine to attend an academically competitive university. My solid economic knowledge and work experience as an IT specialist in a local company prompted me to consider something interesting in the business sphere involving new innovative information technologies.Certain that I wanted to become a professional in the business informatics field, I began searching for a university that would provide me with excellent academic and hands-on experience. A few weeks of research brought me to Corvinus University of Budapest, one of the most prestigious universities in Hungary. By reading the online course curriculum, I found that the covered subject materials best suit my career goals. Last but not least, the financial aid offered by the program makes it possible for me to study and research without worrying about the tuition fee.
During my undergraduate years, I took several business, economics, and accounting courses that shaped my mind toward nations' economic, social, and political activities. Besides, I have always been interested in European monetary policy because they are one step ahead of Asian countries in every discipline, thanks to technological advances. Along with my passion for economics, I am also always looking for ways to challenge myself intellectually. Computer science is the best tool to force your brain to work. Working with algorithms is profoundly inspiring; nothing motivates me more than seeing hard work and sharp thinking reach fruition.
As per the latest data, women hold just 26.7% of tech-related jobs worldwide. In Uzbekistan, these statistics are even lower. Pursuing technical fields such as computer programming first seemed like work for men, but the times have changed. Although some social stereotypes are the most difficult to fight due to their deeply rooted nature, I am going to go far because there is no excuse for not doing my best. I want to change these stereotypes and make my female counterparts go beyond any boundaries. I will not limit myself, and made it almost a mission to make Uzbek Tech-Women succeed in each and every sphere of business, technologies, innovations with my international experience as a Master’s degree holder from Hungarian University. I feel the experiences that I get from my very strong ability to know how to help to the best of my abilities in my home country in return.
I strongly believe that I would be a great participant in this program, as I have gained enough experience in business and information technologies and know how to deal with difficult situations when they arise. I have a clear path for my future missions, waiting for international opportunities that help them work for the betterment of the community they belong to.
