The table chart illustrates the percentage of income spend by families on four categories of products in five countries.
Overall, it is clear that people who live in all five european countries spend the highest proportion of their money on food / drink and housing, while the figure for clothing and entertainment accounting for the least. Germany households spend higher proportion of their budget than that of other countries on two latter categories.
Households in Turkey spend 36 percent of their income on food and drink, the highest figure on the chart. Spain is the second country with higher proportion of spending on that category, with making up 31%.In terms of housing, British families spend more than other countries of their money on this category, and it is 37%. Turning to the clothing and entertainment, Germany is more than other countries on both products, accounting for respectively 15% and 19%.
When it comes to countries with lower spending, the percentage of expenditures on food and drink in Germany amounting to the smallest proportion, with making up 22%.On housing, smaller proportion belongs to Spain than to the others, accounting for 18%.French households spend with the lowest proportion on clothing, with making up 7%. The last category of smallest proportion is the entertainment, Turkey spend less than to the others on this product, amounting to 1 0%.
