Understanding approaches to inclusive learning
Lessons which are included many types of activities inhance the learner's academic,social and problem-solving skills. Teacher's role in learning to support students specific materials and resources which are appropriate to the learner and the task.Teachers should avoid talking too much,using the same materials too much or too little.Assesment is also important.Learners are much capable of planning and monitoring their progress than we think.That's why we should start from where learners are and what they should do . In my lessons,I try to use a range of activities which are included different skills by creating something.Such as beginning the lesson,I ask current events news for my students because while they are speaking something about information,they also are aware of surrounding world.Their world of view are broaden.It is multi-sensory and multi-modal approaches.
If l give reading task , simultaneously students choose the correct words and try to understand the meaning of the vocabulary in the context.In this case they do three tasks in time. Every lesson l give a small texts preventing students from bored and exhausted like the following.
« I love going on holiday to interesting places in
The summer. It’s true that if you go to a city,
There’s pollution / seasons because of the cars,
Which is worse when it’s hot, and if you visit the
Countryside, there might be bugs / seasons. But
Summer’s still the best time of year to go away.
Paris is my favourite city because I love the mix
Of modern architecture / wildlife and historic
Buildings / valleys.»
