ANNOTATION:
Education revolves around the process of learning and teaching. Learners find difficulty in
learning English. Understanding the nature of the learners and society in which the activity of the
education is taking place is the first requisite of a teaching learning programme. Motivation plays a
crucial role among learners, which helps in learning a language energetically and it kindles the learners’
interest. A teacher, who can keep his learners well motivated, has won half the battle. Learners outside
class hours are thought of as being out of education, unless they are doing homework, but watching
cartoons may demand that we reassess the relationship between learning and playing. Learners
respond to voices, music and to moving pictures. Learners who learn informally through the cartoons
seem likely to be high achievers

INTRODUCTION
The importance of cartoons for children can be seen from the various positive effects that
cartoons have on child behavior and development. Here are some positive effects that cartoons can have
on children:
Cartoons can help kids get an early start on learning. The positive influence of cartoons on
children can be seen especially in the case of educational cartoons that teach shapes, numbers, and
colors. Such cartoons can teach basic things to children in a fun and interactive way, thus making
learning an enjoyable activity. The moving, talking pictures and colorful visuals make learning
interesting for children. Watching cartoons can help develop your child’s cognitive skills. It can help
develop logic and reasoning ability, visual and auditory processing, and sustained and selective
attention of a child.
Cognitive development refers to the development of thinking, reasoning, problem-solving, and
creative skills. A whole-brain cognitive development ensures that your child grows mentally and
emotionally. According to famous psychologist Jean Piaget, children considering are to be as intelligent
as adults are, the only difference being in their thought processes.
Contrary to popular belief, children do not soak up information like a sponge and try to make sense of
the world around them. Their perceptions and perspectives develop and sharpen because of cognitive
development.
Cartoons can be used at any time during the teaching and training as long as they are relevant to
the point or purpose. This specific purpose can be supportive to start a lesson, to keep the learners
