Drama (drama /Greek / - action) is one of the three types of literature, along with lyrics and epics, written in a Dialogic form and intended for stage performance. The text of a dramatic work:
1) can be either prose or verse;
2) is intended not only for reading, but for stage performance. Drama emerged as a kind of literature, when in a theatrical performance, actors came to the fore, combining pantomime with the spoken word.

  1. Genre and Style in literary texts

Style is the main feature of an artistic text. The style consists of the features of the author's speech (idiolect), features of expression that are characteristic of a particular genre and register of the language. The style of the text is directly related to the author's idea and acts as a way to implement it.
The style and genre of the work are related. If we talk about the genre of a work, we mean its volume, the nature of the description (voluminous or fragmentary). Time and genre are also related: the time of writing explains the difficulties of perception (for example, the language that has changed historically) or the inclusion of certain realities in the text (the text as a verbal embodiment of the culture of a certain time).
Genre is a General concept that reflects the totality of formal and substantive features of a work.
