Check they understand recipe (instructions for how to cook a dish). Encourage them to work individually to number the techniques for learning the two procedures in the order they would choose to do them (1 = most likely; 4 = least likely). • Ask the students if they chose the same learning style for both procedures. If they chose different learning styles, explain that for the next activity they should use the one that corresponds to the one they chose in the Student’s Book lesson, i.e. their main preferred learning style. B • Erase the board and write the following: How to change a tyre 1 Use a jack to raise the car. 2 Take off the wheel nuts. 3 Change the tyre. 4 Tighten the wheel nuts. 5 Lower the car. • Check the students understand jack and wheel nuts by drawing a quick picture on the board; check tighten, raise, lower, take off and change by miming the actions.
