ABOUT THE ACADEMIC LYCEUM
Order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 192 of July 16, 1998 "On the establishment of new types of educational institutions", Order No. 20 of July 27, 1998 Department of secondary specialized vocational education of the Syrdarya region, based on Resolution No. 119 of February 03 1999 “On the state registration of the Gulistan Academic Lyceum at the Gulistan State University” of the khakim of the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region, was established as the Gulistan Academic Lyceum at the Gulistan State University.
Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 26, 2017 No. 3290 “On improving the system of targeted training of candidates for admission to higher educational institutions”, Decree No. 64 on October 10, 2017 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Order No. 577 On October 14, 2017, the Gulistan State University was renamed the Academic lyceum of the Gulistan State University.
Order No. 129 of January 29, approved by the khakim of Gulistan, in 2018 and by the Order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education No. 59 on January 19, in 2018, the Charter of the Academic Lyceum of Gulistan State University and was registered by the “Yagona Darcha Center” of Gulistan city No. 661130 on February 2, in 2018
Today, 141 first year and 286 second year students are studying. The educational process is organized in 1 term.
The staff of academic lyceum consists of 36 teachers: 31are in the main state, 5 of them are in internal and external substitutes.
- Among the 31 teachers in the main state:
7 are head teachers;
8 are leading teachers;
12 are senior teachers;
4 of them are specialized teachers with higher education.
- Among the 5 teachers working on the basis of internal and external placement:
2 candidates of science;
2 are senior teachers of Gulistan State University;
1 person is a leading teacher;

There are 46 computers with internet in 2 computer classrooms and 6 computers in the library.

20 classrooms are fully equipped with modern educational equipment. In particular, 3 laboratory rooms: laboratories of physics, chemistry and biology are provided with modern equipment developed by South Korea and El-holding Company. In addition, video projectors have been installed in 10 classrooms, and lessons are conducted on the basis of modern pedagogical technologies.

INFORMATION ON LIBRARY ACTIVITIES OF THE ACADEMIC LYCEUM
Improving the organization of the library network taking into account modern students, establishing principled new information centers aimed at meeting the intellectual needs of the growing young generation, preserving cultural, spiritual and moral personnel, as well as providing the population with more extensive and systematic information. In order to provide and create the necessary conditions, based on the decision PK-381 of June 20, 2006, the Information Resource Center was opened in our academic lyceum. Starting from 2021, the word LIBRARY has been used instead of ARM. The main task of the academic lyceum library is to support regular education and independent education of users using information technologies. Library - training of information culture, training of users in modern methods of information search. The library is an improvement of work based on the introduction of modern technologies of information processes and computerization to teachers, students and residents in our library.
