Warren, P. (2013). Introducing psycholinguistics. Cambridge University Press/
The research aims to provide an overview both of the field of psycholinguistics and of the book itself. The author claim that psycholinguistics can be defined as the study of the mental representations and processes involved in language use, including the production, comprehension and storage of spoken and written language.
The article appears to be written to the general public in order to give some examples of the types of phenomena that psycholinguistics explores, as well as examples of how psycholinguists carry out that exploration.
The data presented by the author is informative, moreover the data collection method could be considered perfect. The chapter helped to have a better understanding of, amongst other things, the appeal, significance and subject matter of psycholinguistics.

Krashen, S. D. (1973). Lateralization, language learning, and the critical period: Some new evidence. Language Learning/ 23, 63–74.

The article aims to report on areas of current neurolinguistic research that modify and shed new light on Lenneberg's notion of a critical period.First, evidence was presented that the development of language lateralization was complete far earlier than puberty, perhaps as early as age five. Second, the concept of cerebral plasticity and its relation to second language learning and lateralization was re-examined. Finally, the article was examined a striking test case of the critical period for first language acquisition, the case of Genie, a girl who was presently involved in first language learning at the age of 16.
The article appears to be written to language learners in order to give some instructions about lateralization , the development of it, the relationship of lateralization and language learning.
Conclusions and results are the developmental course of lateralization is not associated with Lenneberg's proposed critical period, since lateralization is complete far earlier than puberty. Available evidence does not as yet preclude the possibility that limitations of interhemispheric transfer are associated with the critical period and first language learning is definitely possible after puberty, although this language learning may not be as rapid or efficient as normal first language acquisition and may depend on cortical mechanisms outside the left hemisphere.

Green, B.A. (2018). Corpora in Language Learning. In Liontas, T. (Ed.), The TESOL Encyclopedia of English Language Teaching.Wiley.https://doi.org/10.1002/9781118784235.eelt039

The article aims to provide an overview a language corpus, corpus- based teaching and its different aspects. The author conclude that using corpora in the language classroom is the vast source of language data which learners can access to determine how language is used by real people in real target language situations. For example, it has been used to design learner dictionaries, learner text, and language syllabuses.
The article appears to be written to language learners in order to help to notice and practice language patterns and use. This teaching approach is sometimes referred to as data-driven learning. Learners use authentic language data, presented in the form of concordance lines, to act as “linguistic detectives” as they find answers to their language questions.
The results and conclusions are corpus-based pedagogy helps the learners understand and work through these sometimes subtle meaning differences in language structure. It also allows them to inductively discover rules and patterns which govern language use and also corpus-based pedagogy is its ability to enable teachers and learners to look beyond the sentence level to patterns found in extended discourse.
