glaucoma among the population, depending on their age and gerontological characteristics. 
The tasks of the research are:
determination of the epidemiology of glaucoma among the elderly population and 
development of alternative preventive recommendations for it in the conditions of the Fergana 
Valley;

To assess the prevalence of glaucoma in the age population of Ulugakholi in the Ferghana 
Valley and to determine the basic foundations for prevention corresponding to a specific locality; 
determination and evaluation of 4-year dynamics of changes in the composition of clinical 
and epidemiological indicators of glaucoma in the geront population; 
identification and assessment of the consequences of glaucoma according to epidemiological 
indications and clinical course during the pandemic of non-communicable diseases;
identification and assessment of systemic and local risk factors for the development of 
glaucoma in the elderly population of olugaholi;
Identification and assessment of endogenous and exogenous risk factors for glaucoma in the 
geront population of the Fergana Valley; 
comparative determination and evaluation of the dependence of the incidence of glaucoma in 
the geront population on risk factors;
Generalization of the features of the clinical course and outbreak of glaucoma in the 
population of geronts of the Fergana Valley Population; 
identification and evaluation of the role of concomitant pathology in the occurrence and 
course of glaucoma in the geront population;
development of an algorithm for the implementation of a program for the prevention of early 
detection, exacerbation and complications of glaucoma in the population of the geront population.
