Implementation of research results. The scientific results obtained during 
the study of political, socio-economic and cultural processes in Fergana in the V–X 
centuries were used: 
thanks to the use of the section “History” of the Fergana Regional Museum of 
History and Culture was enriched with new information about the activitiy of the 
last governor of the Samanids in Fergana Ayachtegin based on the works of 
Muhammad Jarir Tabari's “Tarikh ar-rusul wa-l-muluk” and Ibn al-Athir's “Al-
komil fit-t-ta’rikh” published in Leiden in 1851-1876, and their translations into 
Turkish, carried out in Istanbul; the Persian translation of the work of Abu Nasr 
Utbi “Tarihi Yaminy”, carried out in the 13
th
century by Abushsharaf Nosekh ibn 
Zafari Zhurfodikani; Tehran edition of Gardezi's “Zayn ul-akhbor”; the manuscript 
(XVII century) “Rauzat as-safa”, being kept in the library of the University of 
Michigan, and its Bombay edition of 1845 (Certificate No. 01-12-10-2925 of the 
Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 3, 2020). As a 
result, the materials presented to the museum allowed to enrich its fund, made it 
possible to obtain new information about the medieval history of the Fergana 
Valley to local and foreign tourists and to improve their historical thoughts; 
in the preparation of the script for the program "Khayrli kun (Good Day)", 
which was shown on the TV channel "History of Uzbekistan" in 2019, the 
conclusions about the conquest of Fergana by the Ephtalites in the second half of 
the 5
th
century and the political activities of the rulers of the Fergana Boshak and 
Frion ibn Afrokfarn in reign of Arabs, as well as the history of the formation of 
such horticultural territories as Khujand, Konibodom, Shikit, specialized in the 
production of certain types of fruits were used as a source (Certificate No. 02-14-
825 dated September 8, 2020 of the State Unitary Enterprise of the TV channel 
“History of Uzbekistan "National TV and Radio Company of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan). As a result, the content contained various scientific proves and 
became highly interesting.
