on Foreign Language
Teaching and Applied Linguistics (FLTAL) which will take place on November 29-30, 2023
at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University in Jizzakh, Uzbekistan.
The FLTAL Conference aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and educators with
interests in language teaching and linguistics at all levels from around the world. The theme
of the FLTAL 2023 conference
“Motivating and Mentoring ESL/FLT in the 21st Century
Practice” is designed to attract the research communities to promote connections between
theory and practice and explore different perspectives on the application of research findings
into practice.
The conference considers all aspects of the linguistic and sociolinguistic competences and
practices of bi-/multilingual speakers who cross existing social and linguistic boundaries,
adopting or adapting themselves to new and overlapping linguistic spaces. We invite papers
in all areas of research in bi-/multilingualism, whether or
not linked directly to the
overarching conference theme,
including, but not limited to,
linguistics, sociolinguistics,
psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, clinical linguistics, education, bi-/multilingual societies.
