Announcement and publication
Final results must remain confidential until they are posted to students’
records and are available online. Students must be notified by email when
grades are posted.
Where a grade has been lowered after the result has been posted, the
department must advise both the student
and Assessment Services in
writing.

Recount of marks
Any student may have the marks awarded for their examination
script
recounted. Application must be made no later than seven weeks after the
last day of the examination period.
Note: the fee for such a recount shall be as prescribed in the Fees Regulations.
A recount of marks must involve a careful rechecking
of the marks recorded
by the Examiner, and confirmation that no answer or any part
of an answer
submitted by a student has been overlooked. Recounts must always include
a careful checking of the accuracy and inclusion of coursework marks. The
Examiner will not be advised of an application for a recount of marks.
Examiner
Students may apply for a recount of marks for written examination papers
only.
