Books closed. Write the following adjectives and
adverb on the board: brave, happy, quickly. Read out
the quotes from the texts below, missing out the
comparative or superlative forms. Stop after each quote
and ask students if they can complete the quote using
the adjective/adverb in the correct form. Can they
remember who said each quote? You grow up … than
