DETERMINERS & QUANTIFIERS
Every
We use every + singular noun to refer individually to all the members of a complete group of something
Biz every + birlikdagi ot ishlatganmizda bir guruhdagi har bir a’zolarni alohida tushniladi. Qisqasi uzbek tilida har bir deb tarjima qilinadi.
Try to answer every question. – Har bir savolga javob berishga harakat qiling
When every refers to the subject of the clause, we use a singular verb: Qachonki every gapning egasi bo’lib kelsa, unda fe’l birlikda bo’ladi
Every player wants to be in a winning team.- Har bir o’yichi yutadigan jamoada bo’lishni istaydi
The negative of every is normally not every:
Every inkor shakli odatda “not every” hisoblanadi
Not every noun has a plural form. – Hamma otning ham ko’plik shakli mavjud emas
Izoh: Sezgan bo’sangiz every ma’nosi “all” ma’nosini beradi. Every student = all students birxlil ma’nosi ammo salgina farqi ulardan keyin kelayotgan otda biz all dan so’ng odatda ko’plik every kegin esa birlik ishlatamiz. Endi shunaqa bo’gandan so’ng fe’l ham bunga bo’ysinad everydan so’ng birlikdagi fe’l all kegin ko’plikdagi fe’l pastda bafurja bunga to’xtalaman.
We use singular pronouns and possessives to refer back to every + noun, especially in more formal styles, and especially when what we refer to is not human:
Every bilan kelgan ot agarda odam bo’lmasa biz asosan birlikdagi olmosh ishlatamiz
Every area has its own park. – Har bir hududni o’zini parki bor
Every store has a manager in charge of it. - Har bir do'konda unga mas'ul menejer bor.
Every bilan odam kelsa biz ko’plikdagi olmosh olamiz.
