Beowulf – Final Test Info. 
 
Your final test for Beowulf will be made up of a combination of the following types of 
questions: multiple choice, matching, true or false, short answer, and essay 
 
Items to Review: 
1. Beowulf Overview Sheet 
Time period and history of text 
2. Anglo-Saxon Notes: 
Anglo-Saxon Society and Values, Religion, Terms to Know, Themes 
3. Beowulf Study Questions: 
Basic Plot, character names, geographical regions/homes of characters 
4. Alliteration and Kennings 
You will be asked to identify examples, and determine the meaning of words in 
context 
Make sure you bring a pencil and notebook paper. You will also need your independent 
reading book after the quiz. Remember that Independent Reading projects are due at the end 
of this week. Do not wait until the last minute to complete your presentation on prezi.com.
