LEARNING ENGLISH IN THE AGE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES!

Abstract: In this article, instructions for using online programs for learning English 
with the help of technology were given. Also, the advantages of "Duolingo" and "Learning 
English for free" online platforms were analyzed. 
Key words: "Duolingo", "Learning English for free", platform, linguistics, website, 
mobile application, grammar, technology. 
There is a weapon in the world that is more powerful than a nuclear bomb, and this 
is thinking. Mind is a product of thinking. It is a clear proof of our words that the fields of 
technology and linguistics are developing simultaneously. For example: as a result of today's 
reforms not only in the whole world, but also in our country, in recent years, universal 
successes have been achieved in world science, enlightenment, linguistics, and IT fields. It 
is not a secret to any of us that these two fields, which are improving in harmony, create 
some comfort in learning European languages. I want to focus on English, which is 
becoming a world language. but it is more than that. This increases the demand for 
knowledge of the English language even more. At the same time that digital technology is 
improving, learning English is becoming easy and convenient, and the launch of several 
online platforms is one of the opportunities that are being created. Take, for example, the 
Duolingo platform, an American language learning website and mobile app. Instead, users 
learn using 'networks' tailored to their target language, with specific 'skills' to practice 
vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation through spaced repetition.June 2021 As of now, 
Duolingo has developed 103 different language courses in 40 languages. 
The next program is "Learning English for free" and is designed for preparation for 
IELTS, TOEFL, APTIS, CEFR and other types of tests that determine the level of language
