Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, Napoleon Bonaparte (and his wife Josephine), Fidel Castro, 
Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Albert Schweitzer. It is very easy to be charmed 
by the individuals on the list and not think that beyond it remains an equally impressive list 
of all other prominent people. It includes the whole color of Russian and foreign literature 
and poetry, scholars who were neither left-handed nor ambidexterous. The left-handed 
Napoleon Bonaparte in the war of 1812 was opposed by the right-handed Mikhail 
Illarionovich Kutuzov. And it was not “handiness” that determined the outcome of Borodinsky 
battles. The foundations of physiology in Russia were laid by I.M. Sechenov and A.A. 
Ukhtomsky, and in at one time, V. M. Bekhterev worked with I. P. Pavlov. The hand of these 
scientists is not indicated, perhaps because it did not attract the attention of contemporaries. 
It is difficult to compare the contribution of each of them to the treasury of scientific 
knowledge. 
After observing I understand that there is no simple connection between left-
handedness and giftedness, because each of these concepts too meaningful. And I really 
want to explain it from general view. The features of the distribution of the left signs in 
athletes indicate that each sport requires specific types of lateral indicators: there is no way 
to say that only left-handed or only right-handed children reach the heights of sportsmanship 
- each sport selects a special mosaic of lateral features. Different types of giftedness are 
also combined with different types of asymmetries. 
It is known that the center of speech is located in the left hemisphere. That is why 
writers and poets are more often right-handed and there are not many left-handed writers 
(although they are, which says that not only physiology determines writing talent). Right 
hemisphere is responsible for orientation in space and holistic perception, therefore, often 
talented commanders and left-handed artists. Both of them should have imagine a future 
battle on the ground or an object on a canvas. It is even considered that people who can't 
draw try to draw with the left side of their brain: they say what they want to portray. But the 
words are meaningful. We are speaking "cat", but everyone represents their cat. Those who
