Plan:

  1. The book.

  2. My opinion.

  3. The Author.

Fahrenheit 451 is an anti-utopian, science fiction novel by American writer Ray Bradbury which was written in 1953. As usual it considers as one of his best work. The message hidden in “Fahrenheit 451” is struggle between people`s desire for knowledge and individuality in a society that expects illiteracy and ignorance. The atmosphere and shades of the novel is high gloomy. From the first pages of the book it gives impression of gray and dullness. The most conspicuous intense aspect of the novel is the apocalyptic atmosphere that hangs over the city, constantly threatening nuclear war. Equally stressful the totalitarian policies that hold in control the society of character.
The main character and protagonist of the novel is Guy Montag who is “the fireman”. His job includes burning books and newspapers that barely contain literal or clarifying objects. Montag takes great joy in his work and serves as a model of twenty-fourth-century professionalism.
