Rule 6. Dress code is a visit card of a person, dress appropriately.

Depending on whether you are attending business meeting or conference, work distantly or in an office, you should dress accordingly. Because a large portion of the business negotiations includes face time with stakeholders or clients, some organizations that employ office workers which require everyone to wear appropriate outfit.


In order to encourage comfort and productivity, some businesses that operate in a hybrid atmosphere could advise team members to dress informally, however, acknowledging others is proper business etiquette for both casual and formal work environments. When someone walks in the room at a business dinner or meeting, greet them and say hello appropriately—whether by shaking hands or following some other cultural custom. Appropriate dressing in those kinds of meetings is not less important than sincere greeting and smiling.
Rule 7 Do not forget to send Thank You notes after some kind of negotiations.

Business people send handwritten, personalized Thank You notes.


Sending automatic confirmation and thank-you emails to clients who make online purchases is acceptable. A thank you by email, however, is viewed as fake and impolite, particularly if it involves a significant account or established commercial connection.
Instead, prepare a sincere letter of gratitude and mail it. It could take you a few more minutes and some extra expenses for postage, but it will be valued more.
Always double check emails for grammar and typographical errors.
