Rule 1. Always try to remember the names of business partners or other participants of the business meeting.

Names are one of the most important information about the personality in order to know how to recognize and address each other.


When the one introduces himself or herself, it is appropriate to include last name as well, because it is very possible in case individuals have familiar and famous names such as Mukhammed or Timur.
Thus, it is appropriate to say the full name like Makhsun (first name) Yuldashev (last name). When people meet first time it is vital to pay attention to their name, try to remember how to pronounce it correctly, be attentive to pronounce it on a right way, as some people feel uncomfortable when they are addressed wrongly. If you are not sure how to name them, try to be kind and sincere and reask. In some cultures, such as, China, Japan, Korea, names and surnames are difficult to pronounce, so obviously business people are probably aware of that and they will not mind to repeat or let you know how to say nick and easier way of addressing them. It means you are really interested in them and getting to know the name right. Do not carelessly utter their name incorrectly. Address and call individuals what they want to be called.
Remembering different names from various cultures can be difficult, especially when you have to meet multiple people at one time. One secret the one can use is to identify a behavior or manner characteristic that possibly helps you to differentiate new people. Another trick is to repeat the names and try to include it in your conversation several times. The main thing is do not overuse or mispronounce names, as this is the first step to evaluate your behavior and manners.


Rule 2. Try to greet everyone sincerely and with a smile.

Greeting is the most important morals of the etiquette and it is not only polite way of starting conversation but it can establish further relationship. You never know who the ones you greeted could turn to be, thus it is vital to greet everyone with the sincere degree of kindness and do smile to everyone. A simple How do you do, or Assalomalaykum (in my culture) or even sincere smile and noble nod is appropriate. In Uzbekistan and many other societies, it is important to offer your right hand out-stretched with palm facing left to shake hands. While shaking your grip should be firm enough, but not a bone crusher. A handshake should last as long as it takes you and the other person to say your names. Long handshaking means sincere attitude of the partner towards you.
